The rest of the team are in next week as far as I am aware as I heard Chris mention on Tuesday that Sam will be hosting Rob DJ's quiz instead of Aled next Tuesday.

He's not going anywhere, remember what happened when Chris replaced Sara Cox, it was announced three months before her last show & was publicised to the hilt. If Chris was to leave he'd make a formal announcement, the new DJ would have been announced long before now & we'd be getting ready for his replacement. After all Moyles has been Radio 1's biggest breakfast DJ ever & the BBC would not let him bow out quietly.

Chris Moyles is just a unique show, obviously hats off to the producers that make it happen so well but the team make the perfect breakfast show - and no-one could replace them - scott mills would be ok but he is more suitable for drivetime, and Greg James plays far too much music - so I dont think Radio 1 breakfast will be the same without him. I think radio 1 will be losing a lot of morning listeners too!

On a positive note, during last nights commentary when somebody tetxed them to ask whether they would commentate on Sky games this season, Chris made a remark something like that if you cut himself and Dave in half, you can see that they are BBC through and through,

Second of all, you're an idiot. Chris is schedule to be on Monday. A replacement and massive announcement would have been made weeks ago. Do you really just expect Chris to slip away with a quick goodbye? There'd be weeks of Moyles Gold etc.

When a new DJ takes over a radio show, they don't often follow the same format, Greg knows how to DJ a Radio 1 show, so why would he need Chris to show him the ropes?

Only got to listen to the last 5 minutes of the show this morning. It was a sweet but odd outro and if you were a conspiracy theorist the choice of The Verves Lucky Man would be a very appropiate track to go out on.

Can't help but focus on the song by 'The Verve'. Chris will be proud of his breakfast show journey, no matter what happens now, he has defined himself - and feels very lucky to have been doing his dream job. My interpretation of it.

I know you could say hes just playing games with heads on cm.net, but given that the last goodbye link would have gone over the heads of 99% of his audience it makes it just an odd thing to say.

However staying positive, a) The new blog they have put up is just its normal waffle,just mentioing Aled is back on Monday, and b) there has been no "motormouth DJ" headlines in the red tops this week. If such a monmumental reshuffle in Radio 1 was about to happen, I'm sure somebody would have blabbed to the press by now.
