As said on the show this morning 'Where Am I?' is being 'rested' after their holiday and being replaced by an old feature that has been given a polish. So what do you reckon that feature is or what would you like to see return? Personaly I'm hoping for a Dom-centric feature. Which would be 'One Road Travel' or 'Who Knows Dom'. Or if they are really going to push the boat 'One Word Weather with Nelson Mandela.'

That feature is well overdue a revival :)

Having never been able to listen to radio 1 back when Viaduct was on, from the recordings of it in the sound vault I have to say it sounds brilliant.

Having more listeners on the air earlier in the show is no bad thing. I still only just about understand the format of it but if I'm reading it right it definetly would give Dave plenty of opportunitys for mischief making with the q&a's!

Compared to where am I, I think Viaduct would definetly keep listeners hooked for longer. Most days on the i-player where am I can just get boring so its no loss to have it parked for a while.

I wish it was viaduct it would be quite funny hearing the callers try and work out the answers so early in the morning. However it is more likely to be something like Just ask Dom or one road travel but these are quite short features compared to Where am I?

Haven't heard those three editions before

If they do bring it back I hope it's with the "Bottom end theme" rather than that theme they use there.

I hope it's One Road Travel, but it won't be. Also, they tried and failed to bring back viaduct before.

If its not Viaduct, Birthday corner would come a worthy second for me. One road travel and Mandelas weather are a bit too short and predictable. But given how P.C British radio is in 2010, I'd wonder if they could get away with some of the Viaduct q&a's in that sound vault file on the air these days.

Yup they are very good! :D Is there any more lurking around the site??

Also, they tried and failed to bring back viaduct before.

That must have been before my time too!! Was it during the breakfast show years?

Yeah it was kind of a weird return, it was on air from 1999-early 2000 originally & then came back briefly in 2003 (as Viaduct The Revenge) but for some reason it seems that a quite of the few contestants in 2003 didn't seem to get the concept of viaduct and every edition from 2003 I've heard people seemed to fumble on it quite a bit.

There's some more editions of the earlier Viaduct in the archive thread in my link, any show from May 1999-March 2000 & an edition of "Viaduct The Revenge" on the show in the 2003 section on the first show.

Yes it was in early 2003, it didn't last long unfortunately.

True or False was another great feature, depending on how much they liked the caller depended on how long they stayed on the game

I think bringing back "Girls Going To Football" for the Friday show would be a good move myself, I'm surprised it never got promoted to the Afternoon Show back when the Saturday Show ended to be honest.

Its heavily dependent on how good the callers are though - thats the distinction for me between features things like Car Park Catchphrase rely on not getting dull idiots on the phone.
