Of the 2-3 days i heard it was worse than dire.

I wasn't up in time to catch the first hour so just tried listening to it via the site.

Wish I hadn't bothered tbh. Saddens me to say today's show was drivel and I could only endure about 40 minutes of it. Anyone else think Dave's laugh is just getting loud and very annoying? Dunno if he was still half pissed from the night before or what but he was honking and guffawing through the entire start of the show at nothing in particular.

I find it really hard to get back 'into the show' after they have been away. Lie in, watching tv etc. I do find it quite annoying but after about a week I am back into it. Is that why Chris was asking people to text in to say they were listening ?

Pleased to hear Sara on for Ferne, never get tired of hearing her. Such a lovely funny woman

I've missed Chris and the team the last two weeks. I didn't listen to Mills as he plays too much music, well and he isn't as interesting. I thought Chris might go to Las Vegas to see his buddy Tom, but no, he went to Portugal. I'm sure he came back with a nice tan. All is right in the world, the show is back!

I dont like it when chris does the old "text in if you are listening/watching" outine. I dont see the point of it and Chris is bette than that.

That said, I am happy they are back, and whilst it wasnt the best show ever I wouldnt call it "drivel" (did you not hear any Scott Mills this past fortnight?).

According the one of the jingles this morning, they're off again in October.
Not complaining.
We'd all do it if we could.

Just a shame that I'll have to avoid Radio 1 for another week or two.

And I didn't think the show was that bad this morning.
I enjoyed a lot of the banter.
