I think its gonna have to be manic street preachers - if you tolerate this your children will be next. I will provide a YouTube link tomorrow.

See, I wish I'd have chosen 1999 now, because the song I wanted to pick which I thought was 98 was actually 99. No matter, there's still loads of great 1998 songs.

I wouldn't be a Leicester loyal if I didn't go for this fatboy slim remix:

You know I was so close to choosing Bille Myers Kiss The Rain or something by The Verve but how often do you get the chance to listen to B*Witched eh?

If someone doesn't pick one of my favourite songs ever, which was released in the UK in 97 but in the US in 98, so would qualify, there will be trouble...

Why don't you pick it?

Cracking choice, I love that song.

Ohh, there are loads here! I nearly went for the cheesy option, Baby One More Time, then I nearly went for Good Riddance (Time of Your Life), then I saw Torn by Natalie Imbruglia, or even (slightly embarrassed that I quite like this) Truly Madly Deeply, by Savage Garden.

Ah well - I eventually went for Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, which is a fantastic record.

You can still vote if you've picked, and we normally have other members voting as well.

You've already had a clue, released in the UK 1997 but in the US in 1998.

But most of us will probably end up voting for our own wouldn't we?

And I haven't a clue what this song maybe!

Well, it's been this way for 23 completed games so the method seems to work!

Ok, what do you think it is then?

Ah, but that wouldn't be in the spirit of the game. It's done on trust, it works well.
