So far this week i haven,t been able to listen to a whole show without it * up, be it restarting halfway through or getting halfway through and refusing to play any more. Has anyone else found this problem or is it just my crap computer?

Does it mess up shortly after pausing for any length of time? That is the only issue I have. It is almost as something is still counting so it thinks it has finished 3 hours after my starting it, so if I pause it for an hour in the middle it will cut the last hour off. It did this with the beta, so I stopped using it, but now we all have to use the new version and it still does it :(

P.S have written that whilst talking on the phone so it doesn't make a great deal of sense, sorry :|

I've had the same issue as Jimmy Lemon. I don't know what's worse, having to find the place in the show where I was or having to listen to Scott Mills over and over again, telling me about the lines being closed and informing me as to where I can find the terms of use info.

Be fair tizer - its only one of the thousands of things that they provide for our licence fee. Granted, if its the only one you use, then you've a right to be a bit miffed, but I bet it isn't.

I always thought that was just tosh to help pay Victor Meldrew's bills. But other than that not really aimed at me, whereas Doctor Who can be admired by all cos of it's sparkling budget.

I have found the new iPlayer a bit of a pig to use sometimes, it's very slow when coming to downloading via iplayer downloader.

Ah, so glad its not just me this has been happening to.

Sicne the iPlayer update, mine now also randomly stops..... This is not so annoying if your still in the middle of the cheesy song, as you know pretty much where you are, but when it randomly stops in the middle of the show, it can take me 5 mins to get back to where I was before. Once a week wouldn't be so bad, but i'm getting this 3-6 times a day, SO ANNOYING!

As I also hate the new i-player, this is the second time in a week that I've agreed with comments made by Daily Mail readers. I'm starting to get worried.

I'm not having the problem being discussed in this thread, but I really don't like the new layout, and find it far less user friendly than the previous version. It's good to know that other people are annoyed by it too, because if enough people make their views known then perhaps there's a chance they'll change/fix it. I don't know why they ever changed it in the first place. As far as I'm concerned the i-player functioned pretty much perfectly before, and if it ain't broke then don't fix it.

The issue with it suddenly stopping seems to occur after about 1 minute after unpausing after having been paused for a length of time. Its annoying but can be combatted by hitting F5 to refresh right after unpausing.

I'll be honest I find it much more difficult to navigate, on the original it was split into sections (TV & Radio) and when you went on Radio 1's part it was listed alphabetically, now it's by date rather annoyingly.
