The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I was looking through the reviews section on the forums yesterday and reading through past reviews and seeing what I have missed throughout the years and I was wondering why the reviews have stopped in January 2008. Is there a chance of these reviews starting again? They are actually very well written and great to look back on

It was a lot of effort from people involved and some were better than others. I did a fair few TV show ones and they were hard work (mostly because the TV shows were crap though).

I used to do the Thursday reviews and I used to love doing it. However it does take a lot of effort - when I was doing it the shows were three hours long so overall it would take me about 4-5 hours to write after fast-forwarding/rewinding and general other gubbins. I had no idea how the same person used to do it everyday before we split it up into one person one day (was it Dickie or MC who used to do them). I had to give up halfway through my first year at uni as I didn't have time to listen to the show, never mind keep the reviews up to date. I do miss reading them though (and I think Chris used to read them as well when they were regular), but it would be a lot of effort to start them again.

Yeah, it's the same reason that there's an almost 3 yr gap inbetween the Tedious Links - people just don't have time. I enjoy doing the Tedious, but even that 15mins a day it takes can sometimes seem like a slog when I've had a long day at work and I'm tired.

yeah thats fair enough tbh i can see how they would take a lot of time to prepare but they are very good for going back and reading up on previous shows as it is obviously quicker than listening to the whole shows

That reminds me of that episode of Futurama - "It took half an hour to write, I thought it would take half an hour to read"
