It's cos the commands for notifications and whatnot end up garbled. The description of the app in the market reads "twicca is twitter client for Android. App has been disabled to solve issues of widget. If you have problem after update please reinstall." This does not fill me with confidence.

Ha, I have seen that however I can honestly say the app does not suffer from that problem.

Having tried them all I keep coming back to Twicca.

There is a version of Tweetdeck for Android now however it's still in beta and just not quite right yet.
