I had a party last night and went as a Ghostbuster. Most people spent the night playing with my gun (not what it sounds like) and going 'Hey! John! I'm a ghost!'

Does anyone want to be hungover ever? I can't remember the last time I had a drink it may well have been new year

Hungover from Halloween? Which is for children? Anyone over the age of 12 who dresses up and "celebrates" Halloween is either American, or stupid. Possibly both.

We had some trick or treaters last night, but luckily we have some leftovers... the trick is to buy things that come in little bags so that if there are any leftovers, it doesn't matter that lots of grubby fingers have been prodding around in the bowl.

We had a few, we explained we weren't participating, and they pleasantly and happily moved on.

What a Hallowe'en grinch! Just turn the lights off and no-one bothers your house. I live in a top floor flat so we had no problem with trick or treaters. Score.

Why would I want to sit in the dark all night when its perfectly possible to just smile, say "no thanks" and close the door? Trick or Treat isn't compulsory.

I don't mind at all if it's only kids having fun - which it was. When it's teenagers, I draw the line.

I was in bed at 9.30pm with a horrible cold. We didn't get any trick or treaters tho, we also live in a gated flat with a concierge so they can't get in the building.

Exactly, kids coming about for sweets is fine in my book, but teenagers after fag money is well off. We were out until 20:45 anyway, and had no knocks at the door after that so got away lightly.

Haloween was a bit of a non event this year. We usually have a party (and yes Yuds, the Adults get smahsed - later on) but we'd hosted one two weeks earlier for a birthday and didn't feel the justification to feed the whole family again! T'was just Sunday this year....
