Isn't Flavia still with Matt diAngelo who was her partner in Strictly the year that Alesha won it?

With the first DOI show being on the 9th January and reading that 2 contestants will get axed that night, then surely Dave has a high chance of getting booted out straight away, because the Moyles show isn't back on until the 10th which means they won't be able to remind fans to vote just before. I bet the average viewer who watches it won't know who Comedy Dave is!

From what I gather 16 celebs are training for it, but only 12 will actually take part. Based on that, it's possible Dave wont even make the first show.

I watch Strictly but have never seen a whole episode of Dancing on Ice, but If Dave makes the first episode I will watch it just to see him. Can't see me voting though.

I actually quite like dancing on ice. Those is more risk involved than strictly and the celebrities seem to be better in DOI most years (except this year) and i may start voting for him if he gets far.

Do you not think people might want to wait and see if he's any good first? Otherwise why bother with the skating, just have the vote now, then they won't have to bother with the show. Works for me.

You say that but the majority of these shows work on a popularity basis nowadays anyway regardless of how good someone is. Particularly for the first few weeks anyway.
