Maybe it is, maybe it is my friend

well the toothbrush is kind of the main feature of the purchase here, kind of like equating buying a xbox to paying £150-odd for buying an xbox controller.

(also it tells you top left, then top right - that's right out of back to the future)

I think I'll stick to my trusty £3.50 (approx.) regular old non-electric, non-timing toothbrush. I did buy a 'normal' electric one a few years ago, but the noise set my teeth on edge and I only ended up using it a couple of times before chucking it in a drawer. A prime example of wasting my money on something I didn't need.

Attempting to get back on topic; Aled, seeing as you mentioned Chris' birthday show today, any little hints about what it will involve this year? Will be a big celebrity packed affair from a secret location, or one of those more 'low key' birthday shows?

£3.50?!

people like you who spend inordinate amounts of money on unnecessarily complicated products, that hold features which serve for no reason other than to drive the price of household items up : are the reason that this country is in recession - you've paid approx 7000% more than was necessary for that toothbrush. people who waste their money on ridiculous tat like you make me sick. martin lewis would be rolling in his grave, if he was dead.

(alternatively i could just not act judgmental over your decision to pay £x.xx for a personal item)

I wasn't being judgemental, I was being amused. If you want it and can afford it, why not? But its still silly, in a kind of "Aw Aled really??!" way.

Well yes, but I get where he is coming from! Sorry Aled, your purchase has caused a bit of a stir!

A toothbrush is a good investment! I got mine in Asda for 30 pound reduced from £78, bargain AND it vibrates every 30 seconds and then at 2 minutes it vibrates 3 times to tell you it has been 2 minutes. Best thing ever!

Nope :) No hints - not even Chris knows anything.

Do you want to start by guessing the day?

Should have known you'd give nothing away Aled. I don't like guessing games so I won't, but thanks for not really answering my question anyway.

She. :)

I never said people were not entitled to spend their money on whatever they want to, just offered my opinion something, which I think is allowed on a forum. I stand by what I said though. Despite the fact that I never brush for 2 minutes because I don't have the patience, and the fact that I use a poor man's boring old toothbrush where you actually have to work it yourself (moving your own hand around in circles, and remembering which way to brush using your own brain and everything!) my teeth are still pretty white and I've never had a filling yet, at the age of 27.

Well last year was Monday 22nd so I'm going for Monday 21st or Friday 18th? Is it going to be bigger and better than last year or are you not saying again?!

Edit: Or perhaps the actual day of his birthday - Tuesday 22nd but maybe thats too obvious.
