WSBK > MotoGP > F1.

But I still enjoy F1, so ta for the new thread and season info. I hope we get another Brit champ again this season, Hamilton or Button. Alonso will be pissed and out to prove a point. We'll see....

I predict men in improbable cars will drive round and round the same pieces of track many many times, very very fast. Some will crash, some will not. Some cars will be able to go faster than others. Some drivers will be able to make their cars go faster than other cars which ought really to go just as fast. That will be referred to as "great driving". Many cars will break spontaneously. Some will show a marked trend towards doing this. This will be referred to as "reliability issues".There will be controversy regarding reported disagreements between drivers and within teams. Nicole Scherzinger will look utterly beautiful and everyone will wonder exactly what she sees in that strangely child-like Lewis Hamilton, but they will regard Lewis Hamilton as unbelievably fortunate. Jensen Button will look gorgeous and everyone will wonder why Nicole doesn't dump Lewis for him. McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari will be the dominant teams - the winners of both constructors and drivers championships will be from one of those three teams. There will be fury directed at Bernie Ecclestone for many reasons, not the least his current obsession with staging F1 races in places where nobody is remotely interested in the sport but they have lots of money to throw around. Topher and Zoot will talk a LOT about this and other matters. Topher will be saying how much he likes Red Bull but also supporting McLaren, Zoot will be pretty much doing the same. They will probably go on a date together to Silverstone if they can persuade their respective partners to let them. We will hear all about it if they do.

I think that's pretty much it. Seems pointless to bother now really doesn't it?

Just one amendment there -
They will probably go on a date together to Silverstone if they can persuade their respective partners to let them.

It's getting better. I like motorsport, always have, even if others find it boring.

I can't wait for it, the lineup looks immense, plus it will be broadcast in HD. The sport that needed to be in HD - beautiful locations (and girls) etc :)

Personally, I think it's Alonso's title, but Seb Vettel did magnificently and if he retained it, would be something special! I look forward to seeing what Schumacher brings in his 2nd season, a win or three?

I predict I'll watch again this year to see if it's any more about the drivers and the cars, and any less about the stewards decisions than it was last year.

Maybe we should start a new thread about this but yeah it will be brilliant but I'm not sure if England can go on and win it but I think we have France at Twickenham so hopefully that could help us out a bit.

I love Rugby Union. I'm learning to appreciate the other sort more and more too, being married to a Northern type. Although he prefers Union too these days I think (not that he'd admit it).

I think Union is more fun, you have to be twice as fit and hard for league mind, those boys are machines.

Toph....... You knew this would happen....

My Dad is planning to but it's on really late, as you would expect. Personally I'm more interested in the ads companies are doing for the breaks, that just shows how much of a geek I am!
