Oh really, it's not that good an album then? Shame really as Comfortably Numb is an excellent track IMO :)

Well don't take my word for it, what the * do I know?! I hate the album, you might love it!

To be honest I probably will, I like both Marooned & Keep Talking off of The Division Bell so I'll probably love The Wall. I actually purchased Wish You Were Here, Animals & The Division Bell (the first & second being under a fiver each, the latter been £7) and Led Zeppelin I-IV for £3-£4 each. I will buy the Wall another week :)

Oddly enough I've suddenly got into 70's music, so if anyone wants to recommend any other 70's bands to me feel free to, I think I've exhausted all of the great bands of the 80's, 90's & 00's at the moment so any decent 70's recommendations would be appreciated. Oddly enough I've liked DSOTM long enough that I'm surprised that I haven't gone back through Pink Floyd's back catalogue long before now.

I thought The Shock Of The Lightning was a class album.

When did they release that, I gave up when they crawled up their own arse with Be Here Now (only liked Stand By Me from that one), I'll be honest I've only heard a few songs since then that I've liked (Song Bird, Little By Little, I'm Outta Time) so not sure of what their other albums are like. They've become Beady Eye now haven't they?

Liam is in Beady Eye but not Noel as they completely hate each other apparently.

Ah that's right, Noel was more or less Oasis so now he's gone I suppose rather than go down the "legal battle" route they decided to rename the band (I think they're formed of the other three members of Oasis & someone new.)
