Console has worked his usual magic and I'm pleased to announce that we have a new Chatroom!

The new room doesn't use flash so should be accessible on most mobile devices. There is a special mobile version of the chatroom which you can access here, or by clicking the link given when you enter the normal chatroom.

The chatroom takes the login information from your forum login, so to use it you will need to be registered with our forum and logged in.

It looks good and does work from my phone but obviously will need to be manually refreshed using most mobiles which hopefully shouldn't affect anything

EDIT: When I click refresh it logs me out and in again so therefore the messages won't show. Is there any way round this, for example keeping a buffer of messages on the chat so that it is not empty when you sign in and just previous messages be there?

You shouldn't need to refresh it, that's the idea. Doing so may screw things up as you saw.

OK I'll try it again later. It might not work on my phone then as I'm not sure if it can cope with things like that as it will need to be able to build up information without a manual refresh but I'll try it.

Yay no Flash, thanks Console! Might use the chatroom a bit more now if no one minds.
