So, on reflection, not such a bad hour.... Although I stick to my guns that the MJ bit was pointless. The only 'entertainment' to be taken from it was from the fear within Chris and Dave. But then seeking enjoyment from others peril is a dark way to get your entertainment; We could have got the same thing if Chris/Dave had been hung upside down off the roof of R1.....

Still say the hour would have been way better if Dave had won....

Oh silly cow, what did she really expect? Dave is scared of dogs, he's always been up front about that, and Chris just doesn't like them much. Meeting yet another dog isn't exactly going to be any different for them is it? They don't like dogs - introducing them to a dog therefore isn't going to elicit a positive response! Why would her dog suddenly make anyone who doesn't like dogs go "oh, actually I was wrong, I LOVE dogs, come here boy and lick my face"! Given that its a big and boisterous one, surely all you're going to do is reinforce their dislike?

I don't believe her that Huskies don't smell like dogs. And houses with dogs ALWAYS smell of dog, just like houses with smokers ALWAYS smell of smoke. It's just that as someone who is constantly around it, you can't smell it.

I couldn't watch the webcam so I couldn't see Tina's reaction to Chris and Dave not enjoying being around the dog, but it was certainly funny to listen to. The way they couldn't stop talking about her "WOLF" ages after he'd left was most amusing. I was also cynical that they don't smell, tho. My flatmate had huskies when he was a kid so I intend to ask him about it this evening.

I have 2 small dogs and any workman or visitors I have in my home, I ask does my home smell of dogs ? and state that I want an honest answer. The answer is always NO.

Some dogs do not have 'that dog smell'.

Some larger dogs Alsations, Labrador and the like, do have that 'dog' smell.

Nope, sorry, I stick with Toph.... Dogs, big, small or medium sized, ALWAYS make your house smell. I have never met a dog owner whos house didn't smell of dog. I have however met plenty of people who can't smell anything anyway so would give a false reading were I to pose the dog smell question.....

Nope, all dogs. My nana has Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and her house reaks. Any house I've ever been in that's had dogs (since I have been living without dogs), big or small, has reaked of it, but whilst I did live with dogs, I was oblivious to it. Workmen more than likely go in lots of houses with dogs so may be immune to it as well (besides... who the feck asks all and sundry that visit their house 'tell me honestly, can you smell my dogs?')

My cat doesn't. He stays inside basically all the time but goes out to go to the toilet and spends half the day washing himself.
