Apologies if there has ever been a thread in the past about this and I'm just digging up an old topic, but I think a general discussion thread about the Surgery. I recently started listening and I just find it an interesting listen. Is it just me?

No it isn't just you as I find it to be quite interesting also. I started listening to it around the time I started listening to The Chris Moyles Show itself in July/August 2009 when it used to be on from 10pm-12pm and honestly, I wish it was still 2 hours long as I prefer listening to it for 2 hours than Annie "I laugh at everything Nick says" Mac & Nick "I love every bloody song I play on the radio" Grimshaw who I listened to up to a month ago when it kind of came unbearable for me to listen to. Only reason I listened to them was to pass the time in work but since I have numerous podcasts to listen to, I prefer listening to them during that time now.

Some of the topics or discussions they have are quite interesting though and sometimes you can't believe that there are people out there that are far worse than you are whether it s they have a disease or lost a friend or whatnot. I always find it a bit funny when people text in about wanting to be in a relationship etc and they only like 12-14 years old. Heck, I'm 25 years old and I haven't even been in a relationship so I should text in one night and see what they say.

I agree; the show would be better if it was a bit longer, but I suppose Aled has to be up early the next day for the show, so perhaps that's one of the reasons why it's only an hour. I think they struggle to cover as much as they plan to and it must disappoint a lot of callers/texters because they can't get to many.

I agree, it won't be long before girls/drink/recreational drugs become the focus of your life....!

I've actually met Chris n shook his hand. This fact is still causing slight issues in my trouser dept.... :wink:

Anyway, lets bring things back on subject..... Surgery discussion.....

My surgery propositions are thus:

Devilsduck to have full facial reconstruction as he's not quite got the full 'Tom Selleck' look down yet, and

Footloose to have a penal reduction; a tender lover but I walk funny for days....

I dunno about that. I'm 21, been in a couple and still not so bothered. Being single is a whole lot less hassle if you ask me!

There's no point in being in a relationship for the sake of it. If you know there's no point, I can see why you might feel "why bother"? Some people just aren't girlfriend/boyfriend material.
