laura left the scot mills show a couple of years ago as she took on the role of chart show producer for fern and reggie. (a step up as towds is the producer with becky the matt Fincham (assistant))

Aha, thank you for the information. At first I started to think that she took a cut in pay only working on the weekends but I there are probably plenty of duties for the chart show to during the week. Not great working on the weekends and leaving a fun position that she had on Scott's show, but like you said, it is a move up. Weekends are much better than working the night or early morning shift.

There is a text number where you can donate a fiver but I've forgotten what it is. It was given out at the end of lets dance for comic relief on Saturday

i'd probably say that it's easier to try and get 30% of the listening audience to send in a £1 text over a week (sometimes more than once), than it is to get 6% to part with £5 - and then they'd probably only do it once.

once it gets to the actual day they'll have a £5 text number i'm sure.
