I was just wondering, as i always listen on iPlayer - so can sit through the whole thing while doing work at home, but everyone probably doesn't have that much spare time/freedom at work.

So how much of the show do you generally hear?

On a normal day I listen from about 7:30 until around 8:45. If I have a long drive I tend to get most of the show in. I need to get some headphones at work so I can listen to the show on the iPlayer.
Strange thing is some of the vids on the R1 website come up with "cannot play in your area" and others work, and it seems the iplayer works.

I listen a day behind usually on the commute to and from work.

Can take me 90 mins to get there and then 90 mins to get home if the trains are running on time. So usually get through the show by the end of the next day and will forward through any random music played.

Nah, I think my "smart" phone battery would die after a few hours just this alone (got a HTC Desire HD which is bad enough without doing anything on it).

I record the shows on my HDD from Freeview. I convert them to mp3 and chuck them onto my old walkman and listen to them on it.

As much as I can, But I'm a multi drop Tanker driver, so I miss a fair bit sometimes, really annoying when I hear the q's from the Monday Night pub quiz, but miss the answers when I'm delivering lol

I usually listen until about 8:25 (school for me starts at 8:30) every day but this week I've been listening to the whole show, since it's half term, but usually I listen up to 8:25 and catch the rest on the iPlayer.

I normally listen from 6.45 (when my alarm goes off) til about 9.15 (when I arrive at work), but that's with a 20min break in the middle when I have coffee with my flatmate. But if I see a friend on the tram I sometimes have to switch off just before 9. I often listen to bits and bobs that I've missed when I'm doing the Tedious or sound clipping, tho.

I dont have a set start time for work so I dont always listen from the very start of the show, but If I happen to wake just before 06:30 I will turn the radio on and stay awake to hear the start.

I can generally listen to a fair proportion of the show at work but frequently miss parts of it so I always listen again when I get in to the bits I missed, but most times I end up listening to most of the show again anyway apart from news and music.

So, nine times out of ten I will listen to all of the show at least once every day.

It varies, the good thing is you can just tune in and not care if you've missed anything as it's all just banter. Generally I like the full 3 and a half hours uninterrupted at least once a fortnight, the rest you just scavenge around for via videos or on here, it's helped recently as there been loads of stuff clipped.

Generally listen from 7 - 9, but now I'm not sure what I'll be able to hear as it seems iPhone cannot cope with loading the Radio 1 site without wifi - not helpful to me that wants to listen on the train! Brilliant piece of technology

I listen to the whole show every day, except for the odd bits after 0800 if some git at work wants to ask me silly questions. I always try to avoid having a meeting before 10am too. Then I re-listen to shows on iPlayer after 10am to fill in the gaps of stuff i have missed and re-live the funnier moments; as this is better than Cotton/silence.

I listen from 0630 to 0700 on my radio alarm clock

From 0700 to 0730 on my phone on the way to work

and from 0730 to 0930ish in my office.

I tend to miss the show between 0800 and 0830 because I am speaking with my secretary about the plans for the day etc.

I listen to the podcasts.

I listen 6.30am to 10am every day except friday when I stop at 9am because of the wrongly titled Golden Hour (I tune to another station which does something similar but know that there was music before 1989 !!) then come back agt 9.30 and hope the last half hour is better. Also loving Zoe Ball on Radio 2 when finished at 10am at the moment, what a great antidote for the the Airhead Cotton, why she is on Radio 2 and that waste of space is on Radio 1 is just crazy !!

Because Radio 2 is better than Radio 1 generally - with the exception of Chris Moyles, I don't listen to a single show on Radio 1, whereas I love listening to Simon Mayo in the afternoons and if I get the chance, Radcliffe and Maconie in the evenings. Plus there's Janice Long, though I've not listened to her for ages and Evans for when Moyles is off.
