Actually if you download realplayer & got to your library you should be able to convert the files to MP3s

You can convert use Realplayer (I thought you couldn't either, but you can). If you download the latest version (I have v14), when you go into Programs>Real> there should be a program called RealPlayer Converter.

I agree, I always buy my music but there's been several 12" dance songs which have been hard to get hold of as they were deleted years ago & the only copies out there are normally £50+ . Being able to download a video on youtube & then converting it to mp3 on real player downloader is a Godsend in some sense as it means I've been able to get hold if extremely rare tunes via that programme

Right, Ian, What are your plans regarding the 37 hour show. Are you going to be requiring some help?

I don't actually know anything about it yet (I'm usually a few days behind the show). Do we know how it's going to work? There's no way they would put a 37-hour show on the iPlayer. I've read in one place that they might do their show as normal, and then be on air as guests on the other shows. But if that was the case, would there be enough of them to justify editing all the shows? I might need help - it all depends on how they are going to go about doing it.

Oh ok, thanks for that. I'm sure I will be able to do it - there might just be a small backlog that's all. I wouldn't have a problem with you or anyone else helping out, although in my opinion it would all be edited by the same person ideally, just because different people have different ways of editing.

Can we assume that they will be off-air on Friday 18th March then? Or maybe they are off-air all week apart from the Wed and Thur?

I'm guessing that the best way to go about this will be to download each show from the iPlayer using Radio Downloader, and edit each show, and then upload each show as Part 1, Part 2 etc. Presumably each successive show will have a complete handover from the previous show, so with a bit of luck there will be no gaps.

Is anyone planning on recording the video of this? It's supposedly going to be on everything - Freeview, Virgin, Sky etc.
