The Chris Moyles Show twitter feed gave us this message today

Want extra Chris Moyles Show? We have an announcement Monday morning 28th Feb 2011 8am

Good times ahead by the looks of it but what do you think is going on?

Change in show times? 6.00am start seems impossible with Chris' sometimes being late for the 6.30 start and would they (despite how much I personally like them to) really chop some of Fern's show off?

I think its something to do with Comic Relief and I think it might be something like the show being on all day for one day only online or something. Possibly broadcast on Aled.info as suggested a couple of weeks ago briefly on the show?

Quincy wrote:maybe they will try and break the record for the longest broadcast? doubt it though

You may not be far off there, some sort or record attempt on the show hasn't been tried before has it? Or if it has I've forgotten.

In my head I pre-empted the live show from broadcasting house theatre and the Brett Domino appearance (I know, I know I should have said on the forum at the time)

But one thing's for sure is that next week the show will be announcing something they're gonna be doing for comic relief, numerous hints have been dropped all week

Simon Mayo did it once for Comic Relief didn't he?

126 hours not stop is the current record so I think we can count that one out.

That might be a long enough show for Chris to play enough records to satisfy the Radio 1 bosses......

Aled said he has seen a correct answer tweeted to him.... I do think it's attempting the longest broadcast of a radio show (I tweeted that to Aled in a brazen theft of Quincy's idea).

If they are doing that what I don't get is the timings because unless I add up wrong 126 hours would be broken on Saturday? Surely you would want to do it on Friday night?

Well - you are the accountant (which in my experience, essentially means you can use a calculator... may be different where you are though) so you could be right!

Most people's replies were another tour, red button stuff, something Comic relief related, an extra show on Saturday or a daily podcast. It could be none of those, but that's what most people guessed on Twitter.

Daily podcast wouldn't surprise me at all, they've had a Scott Mills daily for ages and I always wondered why Chris never did, imo he has much more useful material than on Scotts show, plus with the early start quite a few people (myself included) miss a lot of the show!

Its definitely not that. Too many people have guessed it on Twitter

Ah okay, it'll be interesting to see what it ends up as then, I'd quite enjoy the return of a Saturday show!

Chris should definitely work Saturdays as well now that he is single - he hasn't got anything else to do with his time after all.

A world record attempt would be nuts. From what I read on the rules, the presenters wouldn't be allowed more than one five minute break per hour and no song must be more than five minutes. They'd start to go insane on air too by staying up that long.

But for the past few weeks they have been subtly mentioning that they have a comic relief announcement coming and that Chris will be doing something for it. Think they might have mentioned something when Kimberly Walsh was in
