Yeah bless em! Well they done approx an hour...

If he pops out for a ciggy, that count as a 5 min break?!

Apparently #R1MoreMoyles now trending worldwide! Whooooo!

And we are an hour in! There is a live countup at bbc.in/longshow, I'm using that plus a clock on my screen, with TweetDeck on my laptop monitor.
My second monitor shows the forum here, and the ChrisMoyles.net chatroom! Come join us! We have... cookies?

I believe as long as they speak in every minute then it's fine. So if two songs are playing back to back and he has time for a fag - I don't see why it should count.

They said before that they could sleep between songs as long as they were awake for the links (not that that would be practical)! I reckon the breaks are time out of links on air. And the break starts when they should be on air, so they can start it at the beginning of a song and the timed break will only start at the link.

My, that does sound rather waffley. I hope it makes sense ^^.

Think he has to control the desk too, so back to back he'd have to be there to switch em, 2 - 6 mins allowed for tracks aren't they? but then I guess Dave could do that as he's part of the attempt, and they said the WR for a 'team' is 50 hours odd...

Good luck Chris and the team :)

I for one will not be getting much done but will be popping out when Ferne is on and will be turning off when Davina is on the show :)

Now where is my phone to start donating.

This is really quite exciting !!!!

To clarify, do you mean "not done anything" or "not done nothing"? And do you mean "This is going to be a bad day"?

I've not done anything, and this is going to be a bad work day!

Yes see already I've lost the ability to type, and perform basic grammar skills. I still think Dave should do an hour of tedious links after 37 hours :)

I'd pay a good deal of money to hear that...

I suggested it yesterday via text, no doubt it was missed with the another million texts they must get!

The team WR is 50 hours. Hard, but do-able without the narotics I should hope ^^.

Gotcha, I heard a podcast about sleep deprivation a while back, and they talked about the world recorded radio show - they said he used various substances and was in a bit of a state at the end.

Which shouldn't really be a surprise.

It's something insane like 100+ hours. I can barely survive after 24. (Student)!

New year and birthdays generally rack up 72 or so, I experienced one eye falling asleep once, that was very weird.
