The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

What an astounding job Chris and Dave have done keeping the nation entertained since Wednesday morning. I now have the feeling I used to get after sitting exams when I'd spent all my time revising and then didn't know what to do with myself when it was all over.

The total amount they've raised for Comic Relief is unbelievable.

Well done both of you and I hope you enjoy your thoroughly well deserved 2 weeks off!

Am I right in thinking that at the start of this morning's regular show (ie. 6.30am Friday) the figure was roughly £1.2m that they'd raised, and by the time they finished counting 10 minutes after their regular finish (ie. 10.10am Friday) the figure was roughly £2.4m? Did they really raise £1.2m in one show?!

Wow. Just... wow.

By the way... d id anyone else turn the radio off when they were done?!

Yes. I'd had enough of the playlist and couldn't listen to any more!

"Every hour, every hour, every hour, every hour" will be cemented into my mind forever now!

I was going to say surely he'll be asleep.... but he tweeted not long ago.

Still on a high I reckon :)

I think we all really witnessed radio history over the past few days which has certainly cemented Chris and Comedy Dave as the number 1 Radio 1 DJ's ever. I couldn't tear myself away from the Red Button coverage, was weird waking up at near 2 in the morning to see Katie Perry giving Chris & Dave porn mags. I think the marathon shows also introduced us to shows we'd never normally listen due to Chris & Dave and thanks to them I'll certainly be giving Mistajam and Kissy Sellout another listen. Just a pity Dom was'nt a bit more involved and thought it a bit sad that he's the only team member missing from the team photo at the end of the marathon shows on the Radio 1 website. If I was Andy Parfitt I'd certainly be getting Chris and Dave new contracts pronto, who else in British Broadcasting History could just have done what they've done and raised as much cash as them. Now what do we do for 2 weeks without them :(

I am glad I got to experience something like this. If I was off work this week I would have easily watched all 52 hours of it on the red button but I got to watch/listen to 45 hours of it having only missed the last hour and an half in yesterday's show and Fearne's show and most of Greg's. It was thoroughly entertaining throughout and they should be proud for what they've raised for Comic Relief because I think it surpassed everyone's expectations before heading into this thing. It's a shame they're off now for two weeks so we can't hear the fallout on Monday but Chris and Dave did 52 hours, which is the equivalent of just about 3 weeks worth of shows so they deserve that break right now. Looking forward to the videos I've missed that will come up on here sometime soon. Also, shoutout to everyone in the chat and forums here for being good company throughout. Great fans and great people.

Anyone got any highlights? Have a few but might be best if someone started a new thread on that. Take care guys.

Totally genuinely amazing, I'm so proud of Chris & Dave. 8). Some of my highlights include MistaJam's Bass Cannon, Hip Hop Karaoke, the Kissy Sellout show, The late night Chris Moyles Show, and the finale, I actually welled up when Nicole came in to see Dave. Also, going back to Kissy Sellout, I was flitting in and out of sleep while he was on and it was totally bizarre to hear a remixed Jurassic Park theme, then hear Thandie Newton, Patrick Kielty and Greek music and then to top it off Katy Perry bringing in porn mags and tampons. :)

Just magnificent stuff from Chris and Dave. Like others have said, this has far exceeded any expectations I had.

How they managed to be so entertaining for so long amazes me. Fantastic stuff from them both. And what incredible amount of money raised!

52 brilliant hours of radio.

Totally agree with everyone else.... what a fantastic run by Chris, Dave and everyone at Radio 1. I've never donated so many times before so any fund raising event like this before. The way I looked at it was great value for money with all the different little shows and variety of guests and features.

I missed a fair bit during the daytime shows and over night shows, so have them to listen to during the next 2 weeks :)

Well done to Aled and Sam as well, I don't have any idea how much work you two will have done, but I'm sure it's been tough, but was so worth it.

Did any of you listen to the full 52 hours of the show including all of Newsbeat every time it was on and all of the songs they played during the night that you have never heard of? I am listening to every second of it on the iPlayer which should take me about another 6 days.

I didn't focus on the music when it was on, but I quickly got sick of the playlist songs as they felt as though they got played a help of a lot. But of course there were a lot of shows they did over the last 3 days.

Other radio stations play a wider variety of songs from various years but during the daytime, Radio 1 tend to play only things from 2009 to today (with maybe a song or two froom before 09) and the playlist did get annoying after a while but you would expect that with the amount of songs there is on it and how long it went for. That's why listening to the evening/late night stuff was a welcome change. Now I didn't like most of the stuff that came from the Mistajam shows as it wasn't my thing but it was better than hearing Jessie J or whatnot for the 10th time. Heck, I enjoyed some of the mixes on Kissy Sell Out's show and thought that show was going to be terrible in terms of music I would enjoy listening to.

Kissy Sell Out and Annie Nightingale played some excellent songs, Mistah Jam played some belters too!
