Actually, I've just had a look at the listings for Chris's first week on Radio 1, and it seems he was on on the Monday morning, then the next morning it was Clive Warren from 4 til 7, then Chris on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as normal. This means that the Early Bit extract from 30th July is in fact from his second ever show on Radio 1. Even more wow!

Excellent work getting all these shows up and hopefully there are more to come. The 2nd September 2009 and the 2nd November 2009 come up with unable to find address message? Can anything be done or are they now gone forever? :(

Hi Slaphead1982, thank you for alerting us to this fault, either ian, Jamie or Stinson should be able to re-upload that one over the next few days.

Could I just ask a little favour please, could you delete your post in the other thread, reason being so that if I need to jiggle about with the lists I can move certain parts down to a new post if neccessary, thanks :)

Thank You again for alerting us to the issues with those two shows :)

That's OK, I've added to the list as an "alternative edit" :)

Unfortunately I don't either, I just don't have the hard-drive space at present (although I am going to purchase a 1TB portable HDD soon, once I do I'll make copies of all shows), especially now I download Radcliffe & Maconie and Jon Holmes off 6 Music.

Woo-Hoo, did you manage to get the rest of those downloaded then?

ianpwilliams wrote:I'm uploading them now. I hope this doesn't become a regular occurrence with Internet Archive though.

And we definitely need to get that other thread locked.

Yeah I think we will, once Slaphead1982 deletes his/her post I'll add a few more posts (just to cover any extra years Chris is on air or any other extra shows that may get uploaded there) and I'll request for it to be locked, perhaps that'll be easier.

I'm hoping that this doesn't happen to regularly with Internet Archive as well, I bet it's some complete tosser who has a grudge against Moyles, who has requested for them to be taken down, or it could just be that the files have become corrupted on Internet Archive and have been removed.

Ok Ladies & Gents, I'm proposing to add a Radcliffe & Maconie section to the archive thread, anyone like the sound of this or not, please let me know, I have quite a few from their last few weeks/months on Radio 2 & will continue with their 6 Music show if anyone's interested :)

EDIT: 1400th post in this thread, it's being going a long time now :)

I would be interested. I was the biggest fan of Mark and Lard back in the day (Radcliffe is a legend in my opinion), and Maconie seems pretty funny on the TV. I've never heard any of their radio shows though. Is it funny? And is it the same kind of daft humour as Mark & Lard, Moyles, Adam and Joe etc? Speaking of Adam and Joe, I've got loads of their shows and podcasts from across a few years, which I downloaded from another website, don't know if we want them on this archive too:

http://www.adamandjoe.com/downloads/bbc-6music-radio-show/

I find it's a perfect fill-in for when Moyles is on holiday.

Thanks for re-posting the two shows. They work fine now.
I've deleted my post from the other thread now aswell. I'm a bit of a pleb for that. I never read it fully and didnt notice that it says not to post. All sorted now though.

It's sort of like that, although a bit more grown up, I'd welcome the Adam & Joe stuff as well :)

I'll start uploading all the A&J shows then (no point uploading the podcasts as well). The edits aren't brilliant (no fades), but but that's just me being picky :) . I also have 19 XFM podcasts (not sure where I got those from), complete with swearing because it was late-night :D and I've also got A&J at England v Germany World Cup 2010 (only 10 minutes, but very funny). I'd love to get hold of more A&J shows/podcasts if anyone has any.

We should mention that other website where I got them from too.

Nicola rather kindly locked the new thread for me, however unfortunately you can't edit posts once it's locked  Oh well we'll just have to hope that not that many people post in the thread, I'll still keep the "reserved" posts just in case people do post in there from time to time :)

No I'm not on Digital Spy  Why do you ask, is someone putting some really old Moyles on there?

Someone says they have over 100 Minidiscs of Afternoon Moyles and Mark and Lard. Now I know it's not you, I'll get in touch, see if we can work something out.

8O 8O 8O

Wow, hope it's true & not a case of a false brag like happens oh so often with Patrick Troughton era Doctor Who where posters claim to have missing episodes & turns out to be a load of old arse.

Hope there's some 1999, 2000, 2002 shows in particular :)

I thought that "locked" meant that you couldn't reply to the thread. And it seems to be possible to reply to it. Surely there must be a way to have it so that no-one can post there, but you can edit the existing posts?
