That thread's amazing! It goes on for exactly a year too. I think I vaguely do remember it too, because I signed up on the 3rd Jan so it would still have been lingering around.

Sorry Eddie. No-one has asked me to ignore you. I tend to log in during work hours. And, despite the impression Chris gives on air I am REALLY busy. I read everything - including private messages, and if there's a quick answer I tend to do those first. What's happened with your private message (twice now) is that I've seen it and have had to think of quite an envolved answer so I think to myself, I'll leave that till I have a bit more time later... But that time has yet to come.

I don't tend to log in out of work much these days as I'm finding the need to turn off in the evening and not think of work. There's no offence intended to anyone - honest. (I will reply though)

Actually, I think you find that you're completely wrong. I decided ages ago not to mention it, even back when I was there, because I KNOW its nothing special and I didn't want to be seen as anyone different because of it. I even refused to mention or talk about it on the board at all and during my time there stopped posting because of it. If someone found out (From someone else) and posted a message asking me something I would only ever post a reply in their PRIVATE messages, take Funky drummer for example, he asked me in a thread and I told him to PM me. I would NEVER boast about something like that. The only reason I mentioned it in the last post is because Magenta seemed quite interested to know what I asked Aled so I had to say something, but, as usual, I didn't go on about it. Just said it and moved on. If I bosted, I would be wrong, especially as I do not work there anymore, haven't worked for the beeb for a year and two months! So get your facts straight before pinning something on me. It's quite upsetting to be told "I always do something" that I blatently refuse to do!

questions for aled,

1) lets just say some friends of yours took you out for a luxury beefeater childrens meal, what would you choose to eat. fish fingers or chicken nuggets?


2) you're starting to reverse out of a carpark space when an elderly lady walks behing your vehicle, do you:

a) wind down the window hurling abuse at the lady

b) rev the engine hoping that intimidation will hurry the old lady along

c) speed up and hope she moves her wrinkly cheeks

d) wave dispicable hand gestures showing your anger at this situation


3) you're working in a shop and at the end of the day, the till is down a couple of quid. do you

a) take full responsibility and have them take off your wages

b) check nobodys looking and steal from the cancer box because you really want that extra woo-woo when you go out


4) another driving one. your driving along a road and you see the car in front clip the side of a cat and squash the back end of it. would you swerve towards it and put it out of its misery or burst into tears questioning the unreasonable acts of god?


5) is it fair that santa claus only uses reindeer to pull his sleigh or should sheep campaign for equal rights?

hopefully these questions should teach us a little more about you.

eddie, you reacted just as i have anticipated. as for these allegations, the fact that i (and others) can make them so easily speaks volumes, in my estimation. cover your buttons or others will just push them... yeah. i think that pretty much sums up everything i would have to say on that matter.
