Underworld Born Slippy - Born Slippy was taken from the 1996 film “Trainspotting”, starring Ewan McGregor - Ewan McGregor is from Scotland, a bit like Liz McColgan - Liz McColgan shares the same first name as Liz McClarnon, who used to be in Atomic Kitten with Kerry Katona, who now advertises Iceland - As well as being a good place to buy frozen food, “Iceland” is also the name of a country, and home to Björk - Björk once famously thumped a photographer, a bit like Liam Gallagher off of Oasis - Oasis brothers Noel and Liam have got a mother called “Peggy” - “Peggy Sue” was a big hit in the 1950’s for Buddy Holly - Buddy Holly is sadly no longer with us, having died in a plane crash years ago - A plane crash is the subject of the hit US drama series “Lost” - “Lost In Music” was a big hit for Sister Sledge - A sledge is something you’d use in the snow, when the weather’s really cold - Cold weather is often described as being “bitter” - and when you think of the word “bitter”, in the context of great records by The Verve, you think of course of Bitter Sweet Symphony - Which links us predictably to The Verve and Bitter Sweet Symphony.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Oh yes. Pure class.

- Spent 13 weeks on the chart, peaking at number 2. Should have been a number one!

All Saints and Pure Shores

Today's Transcript:

The Verve Bitter Sweet Symphony - The Verve’s Bitter Sweet Symphony features a sample from The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones are fronted by Mick Jagger - Mick Jagger used to be married to Jerry Hall, who shares the same surname as Eric Hall, who’s the agent of Dennis Wise - Dennis Wise used to manage Millwall, who were beaten on Saturday by Crewe Alexandra - Crewe Alexandra are managed by Dario Gradi - Dario Gradi shares almost the same name as Dario G, who had a big hit with “Sunchyme” in 1997 - 1997 was the year that Hong Kong reverted to Chinese rule, after Britain leased the territory for 99 years - If you were 99 years old, you’d only have to hang on a bit longer to get a telegram from the Queen - The Queen gets the full VIP treatment wherever she goes, and gets chauffeured around everywhere in a limo, a bit like Leonardo DiCaprio - Leonardo Di Caprio starred in the film “The Beach” - and the soundtrack to said film “The Beach”, featured the track “Pure Shores” by All Saints - Which links us to a bit of classic All Saints action, in the form of Pure Shores.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - A few people on the text were being pernickity about Crewe Alexandra and Hong Kong, but:-
*The main flaw today was the fact you (apparently) don’t get a telegram from the Queen when you turn 100 anymore. Must be a picture message now or something.

TRACK INFO: - Released February 2000
- The bands’ fourth UK number one single, which spent a total of 16 weeks on the chart.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - The second biggest single of the year 2000 in this country. Behind “Can We Fix It?” by Bob The Builder. No really.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - Get it either on the second All Saints album “Saints And Sinners” (number one - November 2000), or on the 2001 compilation “All Saints: All Hits” - see pic left. Lovely.

Guns 'N' Roses and Paradise City

Today's Transcript:

All Saints Pure Shores - All Saints’ Melanie Blatt’s former other half used to be in Jamiroquai - “Jamiroquai” is a native American Indian word, a bit like “tomahawk” and “apache” - “Apache” was the title of a number one hit single years ago for The Shadows - The Shadows were the backing band for Cliff Richard - Cliff Richard is a big fan of tennis, and a big mate of Sue Barker - Sue Barker is the host of “A Question Of Sport”, with team captains Matt Dawson and Ally McCoist - Ally McCoist used to play for Rangers, who along with Celtic, make up the Old Firm - “Firm” is the opposite of “soft”, which is how you might describe the fur upon a rabbit - One of the most popular colours for pet rabbits is white, which interestingly is also the same colour as the inside of a coconut - Coconut is what you’d find inside a Bounty bar, which is apparently “the taste of paradise” - and when you think of the word “paradise” in the context of great records of all time, you think of course of Paradise City by Guns 'N' Roses - Which links us rather self indulgently to Guns 'N' Roses and Paradise City.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Close enough:
*There was some dispute about word origin - apparently “Iriquai” not “Jamiroquai” is native American Indian, and Jay Kay just added the “Jam”.
*Also, the Bounty strapline now is “taste of the exotic” or something similar, not “taste of paradise”.. which of course was the crucial part of the link, getting us to Paradise City. Nevermind eh Dave.

TRACK INFO: - Released March 1989
- Reached number six in the UK chart, with a 9 week run prior to disappearing.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - Did you know (hmm..) that Guns 'N' Roses are the only act EVER to hold the top two album spots in both the UK and the US on the week of releasing both records: Use Your Illusion I and II in 1991. F-F-Fact.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - Get it as track 4 on March 2004’s “Guns 'N' Roses - Greatest Hits”. Needless to say, a number one album.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Almost, one minor major flaw this morning:

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Nowhere near:
*Kate Moss is still going out with Pete Doherty.
*Brad Pitt is divorced from Jennifer Aniston, not going through divorce.
*Tomb Raider is not set in the future apparently, but yes Dave it does come under the “fantasy” bracket. Nice.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Dave thought so, but wasn’t exactly sure because the jokes coming in for Jimmy Carr had clogged up the studio text messaging system.
TRACK INFO: - Released December 1986
- Reached number four on the Official Chart, spending nine weeks on there in total.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - Yet ANOTHER Madonna tune on Tedious. As you’d expect, available on Madonna’s “Immaculate Collection” compilation, which (as I say everytime Dave chooses Madonna on this feature) has sold more than 3.6 million copies in this country alone.

Tedious Facts:

The Bassheads and Is There Anybody Out There

Today's Transcript:

Duran Duran The Reflex - “The reflex” is a term that refers to an angle that is greater in size than 360 degrees - 360 degrees minus 357 degrees leaves you with just the 3 degrees - The Three Degrees were a 1970’s soul group, who had a number one chart topper with “When Will I See You Again” - “When will I see you again?” is what you might say to your parole officer if you were serving time in prison - When you’re in prison, serving a sentence, it’s known by the inmates as “doing porridge” - Porridge is what Rachel and the three little bears eat for breakfast - The three little bears feature in the famous nursery rhyme with goldilocks - Goldilocks wore a red cape - “Cape” are a well known make of apple - Apple is a popular flavour of pie - Pi is also a mathematical formula that I think is something to do with a circle - Circle is the shape of most of the planets in space - and when you think of space, and whether alien life exists or not, the question that is often asked is “is there anybody out there?” - Which links us to predictably to one of my favourite records, a very very Tedious Link Friday offering from The Bassheads and Is There Anybody Out There.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - No no no no. Daves fine run is over. Mathematical problems today:
*A reflex angle is not an angle that measures greater in size than 360 degrees, as 360 degrees is a full turn. Dave thought upon reflection that it might be greater than 180 degrees, which Google seems to agree with (kind of).

TRACK INFO: - Released November 1991
- Reached number 5 in the chart, with a total of 8 weeks on the Top 40.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - Last played as a Tedious on Friday 29th November 2002. It’s the best I can do by the way.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Dave opened up a religious can of worms today with his line about Jesus’s father being Joseph:
*Dave said that according to the teachings of the Bible, surely Jesus’s father was Joseph. Others though were arguing that Jesus is in fact the son of God, although Dave said he’d like to have seen them put down that on the birth certificate.
*Chris also mentioned the birth being the “immaculate conception”, which resulted in the best gag of the show today:
Dave - Which was also a Madonna album as well..
Chris - No that was the Immaculate Collection
Dave - oh yeah..

TRACK INFO: - Released November 1990

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Petrol pump debate time:
*Cue “Get Dom On It”, to see if you are able to operate a petrol pump at fifteen or not. If you missed it or can’t remember, Dom got through to an Asian petrol station worker who was quick to put the phone down on him, after revealing you have to be 16 to operate a pump. Cue Dom’s brilliant response: “oh, brilliant, bye bye”.

TRACK INFO: - Re issued January 1995

The Beastie Boys and No Sleep Till Brooklyn

Today's Transcript:

K-Klass Rhythm Is A Mystery - A mystery is something that needs to be solved, as d oes a puzzle - “Puzzle” rhymes with “muzzle”, which is what you might put on a big dog - The biggest dog in the world is not Westwood, it’s Digby - The name “Digby” shares many of the same letters as the word “rugby”, which is what Jonny Wilkinson does - Jonny Wilkinson’s great skill is his drop kick - “Kick” was the title of an album by INXS - INXS are from Australia, which is where Ant and Dec are at the moment - Ant and Dec used to be in Byker Grove, as did Donna Air - Air is made up of a combination of hydrogen and oxygen - Oxygen is something that’s used by firefighters, as is water - The plural of water is waters, as in Roger Waters from Pink Floyd, who appeared on stage at this summers Live8 concert in London, as did David Beckham - David Beckham has a son called Brooklyn, who I would imagine kept him and Victoria up at night when he was younger, resulting in them getting “no sleep... cause of Brooklyn” - and when you think of the words “no sleep” and “Brooklyn”, you think of “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” by New York’s very own Beastie Boys - Which links us to a New York inspired tedious link track this morning, The Beastie Boys and No Sleep Till Brooklyn.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - No no no no. Nightmare for Vitty today:
*The first discrepancy today was the fact that there isn’t technically a plural of the word “water”, although Dave said there kind of was with Roger Waters. Which is someones name of course. D’oh!
*Firefighters use compressed air, not oxygen.
*Also, air is not made up mainly of oxygen and hydrogen, it’s mainly oxygen and nitrogen. So much so that its 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 1% trace gases. A chemistry lesson for you all there.[/i]

TRACK INFO: - Released May 1987
- Reached number 14 in the UK Chart, spending 7 weeks on there in total.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - The Beastie Boys formed in 1981 as a hardcore punk band, with "Beastie" originally standing for "Boys Entering Anarchistic States Towards Inner Excellence," though some have claimed it actually stood for "Boys Entering Altered States To Induce Ecstasy”. Fact.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - From their January 1987 “Licensed To Ill” album (which went top 7) - but also available on this best of “Solid Gold Hits” compilation.

Blondie - Which links us to another New York based tedious link track, Blondie and Hanging On The Telephone.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Yep, absolutely flawless. Although some texters said the current record for the world’s largest nipples was actually held by a man. Wait for it..

no wait for it...

.. Chris Moyles. Hmm, bet you didn’t see that coming.

TRACK INFO: - Released November 1978
- Spent 12 weeks on the chart, reaching the top five.. at number five.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - Produced by pop svengali Mike Chapman.. not to be confused with Mark. (Also note the use of the word “svengali” there by the way). Thanks, nice.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - From Blondie’s first UK number one album, “Parallel Lines”.. released in September 1978. Spent 106 weeks on the UK Album Chart, also featuring Blondie’s biggest selling single “Heart Of Glass” - sold1.8m copies.

Sugarhill Gang and Rapper’s Delight

Today's Transcript:

Blondie Hanging On The Telephone - Blondie are fronted by Debbie Harry - Debbie Harry shares one name in common with Harry Potter, whose current film is called “The Goblet Of Fire” - Fire is a naturally occurring phenomenon that instinctively scares animals - Animals live in the wild - “Wild Boys” was a 1984 hit for Duran Duran - Duran Duran are fronted by Simon Le Bon, who’s from Watford - Watford FC are the team of choice for Sir Elton John - Elton John is apparently set to be the first ever gay celebrity man to get married, when he joins his nuptials with “special friend” David Furnish - Furnish is what you do to an empty house - The word “house” rhymes with “louse”, which is the singular form of “lice” - Lice live in your hair - If you’ve got lice you might be forced to shave off all your hair, like Sigourney Weaver off of Alien - Sigourney Weaver is from New York, New York, which is where we are at the moment, and interestingly New York, New York is also the city that gave us hip hop pioneers the Sugarhill Gang - Which links us predictably to yet another New York based tedious link offering this week, Sugarhill Gang and the 1979 classic Rapper’s Delight

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Well, almost. Just the one technicality today:
*Apparently Simon Le Bon was born in Bushey, which is just next to Watford - and not technically in it.[/i]

TRACK INFO: - Released December 1979
- Spent 11 weeks on the countdown, going top three. Should have been higher though..

- MC FACT ATTACK: - As you really should know by now, "Rapper's Delight" was the first hip hop single to ever become a Top 40 hit. The track uses the bass line from "Good Times" by Chic as its foundation, and all group members (Wonder Mike, Big Bank Hank, and Master Gee) are from New York.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - From the album “The Best Of The Sugarhill Gang”.. although I’m not quite sure what other tracks are on there. Maybe it’s just the various mixes and edits of “Rappers Delight”? you would think so anyway.

The Strokes and Last Nite

Today's Transcript:

Sugarhill Gang Rapper’s Delight - “Rapper’s Delight” was released in 1979, the same year that “Gimme Gimme Gimme” was a big hit for Abba - Abba are from Sweden, as is Ulrika Jonsson - Ulrika Jonsson has met Sven-Göran Eriksson - Sven-Göran Eriksson’s number two is called “Tord” - “Tord” rhymes with “board”, which is what you would use to play a game of chess - “Chess” is the name of a musical and a film, the soundtrack to which featured in the 1984 hit “One Night In Bangkok” by Murray Head - “Head & Shoulders” is a type of shampoo - Shampoo the band had a 1994 hit with “Trouble”, which is also a song title used recently by Coldplay (MC edit: Is five years ago recently?) - Coldplay’s Chris Martin shares the same surname as Marilyn Martin, who duetted on the top five hit “Separate Lives” with Phil Collins - Phil Collins is from England, as is Michael Caine - Michael Caine starred in the film “Zulu” - and if you remove the first letter of the word “Zulu”, you get “ULU”, which is a small venue in London where New York band The Strokes played on Tuesday, which as we all know is the night before “last night” - Which links us cleverly to The Strokes and Last Nite.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Seamless link, plus additional Strokes info from Dave. Blah, blah, Lamacq Live, blah, blah, secret gig, blah, blah. press red.. etc etc.[/i]
TRACK INFO: - Released November 2001
- Only reached number 14 in the UK Charts, spending 5 weeks there. A true classic still though.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - Did you know, the lead singer/songwriter of The Strokes is brilliantly called Julian Casablancas? f-f-fact.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - From The Strokes’ much hyped number 2 debut album “Is This It?”, released in September 2001.

The Pogues with Kirsty MacColl and Fairytale Of New York

Today's Transcript:

The Strokes Last Nite - Last night was called Thursday, which is named after “Thor”, the god of thunder - Thunder is normally accompanied by lightning - Lightning never strikes in the same place twice - Twice is how much more 48 is than 24 - 24 is the amount of hours in the day, and also a drama series starring Kiefer Sutherland - Kiefer Sutherland starred in “The Lost Boys” alongside Kevin Bacon - Bacon is normally served with eggs - Eggs come from chickens - Chickens have feathers and beaks - “Beaks” rhymes with “leaks”, which are what plummers fix - “Fix You” was the title of a recent track from Coldplay - Coldplay, in their early days, played gigs at a North London venue called “The Shepherds Pub”, which has now changed its name to “The Boogaloo”, and is somewhere frequented by Shane McGowan from The Pogues - and when you think of Shane McGowan, and The Pogues, and this city we currently find ourselves in at this special time of year, you think of the greatest ever Christmas record bar none, the beautiful “Fairytale Of New York” - Which links us to The Pogues with the late, great Kirsty MacColl and Fairytale Of New York

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Just the one, kind of, major flaw this morning:
*Kevin Bacon wasn’t in “The Lost Boys”, he was in “Flatliners”.

TRACK INFO: - Released December 1987
- The best ever Christmas record, a top two hit with an unusually long festive shelf life (9 weeks).

- MC FACT ATTACK: - Their most successful chart hit, and the 25th best selling Christmas single of all time. Number one of course being the Band Aid hit from 1985. “1985” incidentally being another great record, by the Manic Street Preachers. Anyway, we’re getting off the point here..
- ALBUM DETAILS: - There are numerous Xmas compilations out there in the market to choose from, but the tracklisting on this - “Christmas Hits” - seems good enough for me. Features Band Aid, Shakin Stevens, Jona Lewie, East 17, Wham, Mariah Carey etc etc. Go buy if you’re feeling festive already.

The Jam and Town Called Malice

Today's Transcript:

The Pogues feat. Kirsty MacColl Fairytale Of New York - New York is where we flew back from yesterday - “Yesterday” was a big hit for The Beatles - Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr provided the voice for Thomas The Tank Engine - Thomas The Tank Engine shares the same first name as Thomas Dolby, who had a 1984 hit with “Hyperactive!” - Hyperactive is what certain kids get after having fizzy drinks - Fizzy drinks are full of gas - Gas, or more precisely natural gas, is found in the North sea, as are halibut - Halibut is a type of fish - Fish breathe through their gills - “Gills” rhymes with “bills”, which are like mouths in the world of ducks - Ducks like to eat bread - Bread is made by a baker - Baker, first name Cheryl, used to be in a band called “Bucks Fizz”, who had a number one with “My Camera Never Lies” in 1982, the same year curiously that The Jam also topped the charts with “Town Called Malice” - Which links us to The Jam and Town Called Malice.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Not really:
*Gas is technically found underneath The North sea, not in it.
*Also, Chris argued with Dave about his link that “halibut live in the North sea”. He asked Dave what he had to back this up, and Dave just replied with “fact”. Cue a debate about salmon and various types of fish in different waters. Rachel did some research, and it turns out Dave was right - halibut live in the northern North sea, as they prefer much colder waters.

TRACK INFO: - Released February 1982
- The Jam’s third UK number one single, which spent 9 weeks on the Official Singles Chart.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - In their career, The Jam’s total singles sales came to 5,094,055, and they also hold the record for the most simultaneous top 75 singles (with 13 back in 1982). Fact.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - From October 1997’s “The Very Best Of The Jam”, which got to number nine on the album chart... spending ten weeks on there in total.

Blur and There’s No Other Way

Today's Transcript:

The Jam Town Called Malice - The Jam’s Paul Weller is from Woking, which is always an annual hotbed of panto action - Panto normally features a dame - Dame Judi Dench is a famous proper dame, and also a well known actress who has starred alongside Billy Connolly in the past - Billy Connolly supports Celtic, who are managed by Gordon Strachan, who used to manage Southampton, who are currently managerless after Harry Redknapp walked out on them to take the Portsmouth job, which now might not be available, depending on the mood of Pompey chairman Milan Mandaric - Milan Mandaric is from Croatia - Croatia used to be at war - “War” rhymes with “law”, which is what a barrister does - A barrister is someone who’d probably wear a wig, as is Elton John - Elton John shares the same surname as Collins John, who plays for Fulham - Fulham is the team of choice for Jimmy Hill, who’s known for his footballing knowledge and enormous chin - and Jimmy Hill wears reading glasses for reading - and if he doesn’t have his glasses on when he’s trying to read stuff, the print would presumably be very, very small and all a bit of a “blur”- Which links us cleverly to Blur and the classic There’s No Other Way.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Dave was having Balkan problems today:
*Milan Mandaric is Serbian, not Croatian.. thus knackering up the entire link.
*Also, not mentioned on the show but Elton John’s real name is “Reginald Dwight”, so surely he doesn’t share the same surname as Collins John at all. Hmm..

TRACK INFO: - Released April 1991
- Chart position = 8. Weeks on chart = 8. Wow. Coincidence or what kids.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - No fact, I am just bored of Dave choosing this god damn Blur song. There’s plenty of others to pick from Mr Vitty! How about “Beetlebum” or “Coffee & TV” now and again? Thanks.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - From Blur’s September 1991 debut “Leisure”, or alternatively on this, their November 2000 best of compilation, amazingly titled “The Best Of Blur” (which got to number three on the album chart).

Freak Power and Turn On Tune In Cop Out

Today's Transcript:

Blur There’s No Other Way - Blur’s Damon Albarn is also one of the people behind the Gorillaz - The singular form of gorillas is “gorilla”, which is what King Kong is - King Kong the movie stars Jack Black, who shares the same surname as Roger Black the runner - “Runner” is a word associated with “bean”, which in turn is associated with the word “sprout”, which in turn is associated with the word “brussels” - Brussels is the capital of Belgium - Belgium is where Jean-Claude Van Damme is from - Jean-Claude Van Damme starred in the film “Double Impact”, where he cleverly played both sets of twins - Twins are fairly uncommon in the world of showbiz, with some of the best examples being the Olsen twins, and of course the Proclaimers - The Proclaimers are big fans of Hibs - “Hibs” is an abbreviation of Hibernian, which comes from the word “Hibernia”, which is the latin word for “island” - Ireland is where Graham Norton is from - Graham Norton used to work for Channel 4, as did Zoë Ball - Zoë Ball is married to Norman Cook - and one of Norman Cook’s many musical projects was of course Freak Power - Which links us to Freak Power and the classic Turn On Tune In Cop Out.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?: - Again, another flawed link this morning. Dave did say the song title wrong for a start, before being corrected by Chris. Plus:
*Dave said Jean-Claude Van Damme played “both sets of twins” in Double Impact, implying that he played four people. What he however meant to say was that Mr Van Damme played one set of twins, and two people. Hope that has clarified it.

TRACK INFO: - Released October 1993 & April 1995
- Reached number 29 initially (spending 5 weeks on the chart), then number 3 on re-issue (spending 9 weeks on the chart).

- MC FACT ATTACK: - Originally released in 1993, there was renewed interest in this track after TV exposure in a Levis Jeans ad campaign. Fact.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - Track 2 on the top 11 April 1995 album by Freak Power, entitled “Drive-Thru Booty”. You should probably get it for this track alone.

Jinny and Keep It Warm

Today's Transcript:

Terrorvision Tequila - Terrorvision are from Bradford, the same musical hotbed that produced Tasmin Archer - Tasmin Archer had a hit with “Sleeping Satellite”, while “Satellite Of Love” was a hit last year for Lou Reed - Lou Reed shares the same christian name as Lou Diamond Phillips, who starred alongside Emilio Estevez in the “Young Guns” films - “Young Guns (Go For It)” was the debut single from Wham! - Wham! were made up of George Michael, and to a lesser extent Andrew Ridgeley, who’s married to, or used to be married to, Keren Woodward, who used to be in Banarama with Sarah Dallin and Siobhan Fahey, who was in Shakespeare’s Sister with Marcella Detroit, and is the other half, or certainly used to be the other half, of Eurythmics’ beardy weirdy Dave Stewart, who is from Sunderland (MC edit: the longest and most tenuous connection ever?) - Sunderland play their home matches at the Stadium Of Light, which literally translated into portuguese is “Estádio Da Luz” - The Estádio Da Luz is where Manchester United suffered a disappointing and humiliating European exit on Wednesday night - Knight, first name Michael, was the 80’s TV character played by actor David Hasselhoff - David Hasselhoff is a mega star in Germany - Germany gets cold in the winter, so if you’re going there on holiday it’s important to “keep warm” - and Germany is also, I think, where Jinny is from - Which links us predictably to Jinny and Keep It Warm.

Tedious Facts:

- SEAMLESS?:
- Yes, despite these complaints:
*It is Tasmin Archer, not “Tamzin” Archer as people were suggesting on the text.
*Tasmin Archer was credited as being born in Bradford, despite some people saying she’s actually from Guiseley.
*Andrew Ridegeley and Keren Woodward ARE still married, although Dave did say they could possibly be.
*Finally, Jinny might be Italian, although Dave did say he THOUGHT she could be from Germany.

TRACK INFO:
- Released July 1995
- Reached number eleven on the singles countdown, spending 5 weeks there. Previously reached a lowly number 68 when released originally back in June 1991.

- MC FACT ATTACK:

- I can confirm that Jinny IS in fact Italian, even though her real name is “Janine Brown”. Italy via Wakefield then.

- ALBUM DETAILS:

- Own it on disc 2 of the compilation CD “100% Pure Old Skool Club Classics”.
