Happy Star Wars Day.

And I love family guy but i honestly didn't think blue harvest was that good but I've only seen it once. I quite liked something something darkside though and I haven't seen it's a trap yet but apparently it's crap.

Its a trap is def the weakest offering, but still worth a watch for a few cheap Star Wars/ Family Guy gags.

First time I saw it a few years ago, it was good. But the remake of the other sequels ain't that good and got worse. Would have been better I think to have just done Blue Harvest and left it at that.

However, latest series (I think) of Family Guy is starting on BBC3 on sat night, looking forward to it.

I liked Blue Harvest, but not so much the sequels. I have a real love/hate relationship with Seth MacFarlane's stuff - I do like Family Guy and I LOVE American Dad (I'm a huge Roger fan in particular), but a lot of the time I find his humour dubiously sexist and it makes me uncomfortable. But yeah, that "well stay here and rot, you stuck-up bitch" line makes me laugh every time.

I don't like Seth McFarlane's stuff. I don't deny that it makes me laugh sometimes, but far more often it makes me squirm. My telly has no place making me feel unhappy, that's not what its for!

I love Family Guy, it always makes me laugh, I haven't ever really got into American Dad, I might give that another go. I've seen bits of Blue Harvest, I might try to get the whole thing, am sure it's brilliant.

I absolutely adore Roger in his outfits. In one episode he comes out the house dressed as a 50s housewife (housecoat, rollers, cateye glasses) and I laughed so much that tea came out of my nose. Alas I can't find a pic of that particular one, but here are a couple of other excellent examples:

I like Seth MacFarlane's stuff mostly because he's very funny, but also because I agree with much of the agenda he pushes across.. but I guess that's why his programmes are so controversial in the states. American Dad in particular is brilliantly anti-Republican.

To be fair, even they admit It's A Trap is naff. They only did it to complete the set.

I heard Chris talking about the Family Guy special "Blue Harvest" on Wednesday's show. Has anyone told him that they've also done Empire Strikes Back yet? Also, I thought I saw a Family Guy Return of the Jedi DVD somewhere, but I'm not sure. Have they done the third one yet? Maybe just in USA...
