The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Did Chris intend to give that massive clue this morning that with 2 minutes of online research revealed the exact location and name of the house that the Radio 1 team are staying at?

He was mocking the whole situation that it is hardy 'top secret'...... The BBC outside broadcast trucks are not the most subtle.

I really don't know, what do you think?

I don't think he did it intentionally giving it away. I have found where they are staying. From the pictures i see it looks great.

He and the team did mention the OB vehicles being in the car park, which of course could be highly visible to someone in the vicinity, but having looked at the place using Google Maps satellite view I am pretty sure the car park can't be seen from any nearby roads so unless passers by had seen the OB vehicles arriving I don't think you would know that they were there. So mentioning the trucks did not matter as that in itself would not give anything away about the location.

But he did let slip the location in another way. He used some other words that pinpointed the place exactly. I think the words he used just slipped out unintentionally and it wasn't mentioned again as they probably realised what had been said.

There is actually a thread about this? Anyone who lives close enough to this house will know immediately where they are just from watching the red button footage and why does it matter if other people find out the location? I highly doubt that even people on here would be sad enough to trek from portsmouth to Carlisle just to attempt to break into the house that Chris Moyles is staying in for the week

Oh! :?

I'll unpack then, shall I ? :(

When was it mentioned? I take it people don't want to post what the big clue was on here in case they get into trouble (i mean with the huge audiences this thread will get when compared to the bbc radio 1 breakfast show, obviously its a security risk).

*shakes fist at the ridiculous amount of money we pay a year for a pretty good amount of TV and radio and thinks we should all get angry at them renting a house for our amusement*

Ben.....do you pay a TV licence?

Course he don't!! :D

Personally i'd be happy for CM show team to rent that place all year round, plenty of other wanc stuff they could scrap to fund it!

I was joking of course. That was a guess based on how much part of the house cost to rent for a week (£2,300).

£10k for a week to lease an OB location and accommodation for 20 people is ridiculously cheap.
