The only famous person anyone here will have heard of that I've had a reply from is Tim Minchin. Twice actually.

I have had a RT from Dom. I have had a few twitter conversations with Melanie Nicholls-King who was in The Wire. Eric Johnson who was in Smallville. A reply from Carrie. Lyriq Bent from Saw IV. That is the ones i can remember atm.

These all have the same problem as mine: if you have to explain who they are, they really don't count as celebs :)

I've just had a press release I wrote published on a website, and then a link to the article tweeted by the site. Does that count?

Nice one! I was published in a national publication two weeks ago.... I did wander if any detectives here may stumble across it and put two n two together..... (they didn't!).

Interesting, wondered what happened to him after they foolishly dropped him from Heart 106.2 (morons)

The only "celeb" to retweet or copy me into a twitter post was Stan Collymore (it was football related)

Now now. Collymore has worked hard to sort himself out from those problems, fair play to him.

He was on Heart Cambridge drivetime before they went national. Although his twitter advertises smooth radio fairly regularly

See I know who she is, but I bet a lot of people won't - until they've googled her that is. If people that are famous but only in a relatively unknown sports context count, then I claim Nick Matthew, Daryl Selby and Alister Walker - Ali Walker actually follows me.

Gail Emms is more famous than I would say any squash player though - rightly or wrongly. She was on A Question of Sport a few weeks ago.

You're probably right - doesn't mean she ought to be though! She only ever got to be second best at what she does after all...

You could argue that about Chris Moyles.
