Today's Tedious Link:The Divine Comedy, Something For The Weekend
Today's Transcript:4 Non Blondes achieved a top 60 hit with their follow-up single 'Spaceman'. 'Spaceman' was also the title of the 1996 no 1 by Babylon Zoo. Babylon Zoo were fronted by Jas Mann, who supports Wolverhampton Wanderers, as does Kevin Rowland of Dexy's Midnight Runners. Dexy's Midnight Runners first got to no 1 with the track 'Gino'. Gino Ginelli make ice cream, which is often difficult to eat for people with sensitive teeth, who can also have problems with hot drinks such as coffee. Coffee is made from roasted beans. Beans of a baked variety are often served with breakfast, although not by Mark Radcliffe, as he doesn't like them. Mark Radcliffe plays the drums, as does Rick from Ash. Ash are from Northern Ireland like the Divine Comedy, which links to the Divine Comedy and 'Something For The Weekend'.
Flaws:Apparently Gino Ginelli ice cream has been discontinued. There was also some debate as to whether the Divine Comedy are in fact from Northern Ireland, and in fact their ever-changing lineup has included many non-Irish members, but the main component of the band Neil Hannon is indeed from Enniskillen, so we'll allow Dave that one.
