I find that funny as well but when its been done numerous times over the last 2 weeks, it gets tiring and unfortunately that has occurred.

Of all the things that make me tired on a daily basis, I don't think anything I hear on the radio qualifies.

Me too. I like Merrrk.
Maybe these two have gone on a bit too long, but its still miles better than the boreathon that is Celebrity Raspberry.

I have a feeling that CPC is approaching another hiatus though, thats why Chris is stringing it out.

I am in agreement Bas that it could be running up to a hitaus on the show. I hope so and they have a new feature coming don't want a rehash of old features.

That's why I hated when Westwood's Where Am I? ended last summer and got replaced by something in my opinion that is inferior. Sure they were running out of places but I enjoyed that feature a lot and so did my parents whenever they listened back then.

Guess that might be the reason if they're on for so long but still find it repetitive nonetheless. Might bring back Chegger's Pop Quiz! :p

Right on! He would never have someone from Stoke back on the show over and over. Wait...

I hope not, I hope it carries on as it is, in the same format for a long time yet.

I completely agree that celebrity stupid noise game is rubbish though...

Can't stand celebrity makes pointless noise, I just switch of for the duartion, its the best way to listen to that pointless crap. I miss Where I'm I, its just far more superior and a lot more funny.

Jack said he won't be on tomorrow but Chris said to come back on Thursday. That pretty much confirms they have no one else on here. It's getting boring now and I know a few are liking the running gag but 3 weeks of it is overkill. Like the Toby LeRone gag was great and went while it was on top but this gag is just going down the drain now, it's boring!

It doesn't pretty much confirm anything, DarroM.

It's also not boring, nor is it overkill. Stop moaning.

I'm sorry but according to you, having the same 2 contestants on for 3 weeks straight isn't overkill or boring but funny! Heck, I can take a good, funny running gag etc but unfortunately, this isn't funny and just makes listening to CPC a bit of a chore now whenever they go to the contestants after Roy's banter even if they don't talk much. The fact they don't start until near 5 to 10 doesn't help matters either. Yes I am moaning but I am entitled to my opinion as is yourself and at the end of the day, we disagree with each other and let's just end it at that then.

Can someone explain to me why Chris loves the two current contestants so much? Yeah, the 'out of time' thing was funny the first week...now it's just annoying. Is he related to one of them or something? Why does he want to keep them both on?

I found it funnier when one of the contestants ruined Chris' joke by saying he couldn't come back tomorrow. :D

Annoyingly, Chris then said he'd fix it so he can come back in two days....

Are they dropping Carpark Catchphrase or something? Why keep this up for so long?

I use the off button and maybe all other's who think this is boring should do the same. It also cuts off Cotton.
I am annoyed that Chris has spoilt what I used to look forward too :(

Dropping CPC is the only reason why I see this going on for so long because what other good valid reason is there? Some people are liking the joke while others are not and would be nice if someone asked Aled if they're getting rid of CPC or whatnot just to get a confirmation.

I asked Aled on twitter to resolve this whole Carpark Catchphrase situation as its getting annoying. I switch off now when the CPC music stars.
