The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

*gets his coat......*

It's been almost six years, so I should bloody well hope I'm over it. It took a year, tho. A few people benefitted (if that's the right word) from my rebound!

I think it was mentioned once -- when the team were talking about bringing a "plus one"* or something. Someone said:

"How about you, Dave?"
Nope.
"Chris?"
Nooo.
"Tina?"
No.

* It wasn't about bringing a plus one, but something like that. It was funny.

Were they ever actually 'together' in order for them to split?

Well when asked, Tina always maintained that she had a boyfriend - it just seemed that they didn't actually see an awful lot of each other, and whenever they did, it had to be a special thing like a meal out or a proper "date". Which realistically isn't going to last all that long is it? I mean, you can do that for a while, then you have to get to the stage of just being together - sounded to me as though that was never going to be an option for Tina and whatever his name was, so their days were numbered from the start I reckon.

I remember her being teased and the name Andy being given to her mystery gentleman friend, who was actually an old friend, but that she once let slip she might go on a 'date' with.

But I concede I may not have been paying close attention.

In summary: Hmmmm, I see.

Nah, they were "dating", whatever that means. And, she was teased a bit about him staying over, having a toothbrush in the bathroom, that kinda thing. Then it all went quiet, so either Tina didn't want to talk about it, or it was over. Then the little comment I mentioned above confirming it was over.

I can't see Tina being Chris' type or vice versa though.

Like Dave has - and that was the end of a marriage, with children involved.

But maybe I'm being unfair.

That actually is a fair point but I suppose they are just lucky that they are allowed the time off work to deal with it as a lot of employers wouldn't be that kind and I can see why they would have both wanted time off for it but personally, I think I would rather go to work to keep with a daily routine and hope to take my mind off it but each to their own I suppose.

Well you're probably right, but it would be really nice.

That doesn't have to be an issue. Mr Yudster is 12 years younger than I am and we're fine...

Half your age + 7 for Chris would equal 25 1/2, so I think she'd be "age appropriate" as they say. He's not quite in to Creepy Uncle territory yet!

Yeah, 25 eh.

That'll explain where I'm going wrong then ;)

Not every one. Just most.

That's not a flattering pic of Tina at all, is it? You can see her gums. One of the least sexy of all body parts.
