Did anyone else see Carrie's bold attempted takeover of the entire BBC News Channel yesterday afternoon around five-ish?
It was hilarious.
She was doing the sport. I had it on in the background having just got in from work & just noticed who it was as she was finishing off the sport. I noticed how damn hot she was looking, (she's just my type) & whether this lecherous thought somehow telepathically disturbed her or something, i don't know ( well obviously it didn't, but i live in hope
) but after the sports news had finished instead of handing over to the newsanchor she just ploughed on reading the autocue into the next news report, which was about som,e mountaineer phoning his missus on an iphone from the top of Everest, of all things.
After about 10 seconds she realised her mistake, stopped, looked horrified & said, "Oh my God , thats not my bit!! I'm so sorry!"
"Thats OK," said the anchor, "You're doing great, carry on."
"No, no, i'm really sorry." she went absolutely embarrassed to f**K.
But the bastrd anchor said, " No, you're doing great, finish it off."
And despite her protests made her finish the whole damn report. Which included a film report . Which she crashed before the end in her embarrassment & laughing to get it over with.
I just wanted to empty the sarky newsanchor ( who, to be fair, was having a good laugh about it) & give her a big comforting hug .... well i want to do that at any time TBH.
I wanted to alert Chris or the gang to let them know, if they are interested. and maybe they could play back the clip for the show - if there is one with the news channel - but as i refuse to join Facebook or Twitter & can't seem to find an email address on the home page i'm unable to contact them. Would one of you do it for me? If you think its worth the effort of course.
