Anyone here old enough to remember Catchphrase when it was on itv (late 80s early 90's I think). I knew Roy must be old but didn't know he was past 70.
Don't remember this one below but the one I do remember was a big letter D over the words warwick 8)

I used to watch it non-stop. I think Roy was on it up until 2000 when they refreshed it and consequently destroyed it.

Of course I remember it. An early Saturday evening TV staple of my childhood.

Love Catchphrase and my favourite part is when the contestant gets the super catchphrase or whatnot and Roy goes "RIGGHHHTTTT!!!" Just makes me smile!

Yes, it was. There's no truth in the rumour that Roy left a trap for him.

Yep although I understand Roy Walker decided to leave the show, he had been on it since it was originally made by ex-ITV station TVS Television (yes their name was Television South Television) and stayed on when it changed hands to Action Time/Carlton, Nick Weir took over for a while & then in it's final days it was presented by Mark Currie.

To be honest even though it was somewhat scripted with Roy the gags seemed more natural, with the other two however it seemed so forced.

Either way always enjoyed watching this on LWT on a Friday and thought it was somewhat a shame that it decline as badly as it did.

Sat and today are up
