Why? You're not seriously saying you like every single number 1 ever released since 1952?!

I actually quite like the idea - it appeals to my OCD. A couple months ago I decided to strip out my mp3 player completely and start again and it was the worst decision I ever made - it went MENTAL. Track names missing and wrong, all the album artwork missing, it makes me want to cry everytime I look at it. I almost want to buy a new one just to make it look right again.

Yep its more of an OCD thing that I have with music. I got given them all ages ago and I just like to have them all there and I have to update them all and all my music has to have album art and track numbers. And an album must be in order and there can't be tracks missing. I don't even like it if a track name is in capitals or spelt wrong or anything. It has to be changed instantly. I don't really have OCD with anything else except that.

I get that if you have an album it has to be in order and all there (and track information all present and correct with artwork), I just don't get having all number ones since the dawn of the charts (if that was the dawn of the charts, it was around then wasn't it?)

Also - if you don't like tracknames in capitals, how would you deal with having, for example, mOBSCENE on your iPod?

Well if it is meant to be like that then that's fine but I have so many OCD issues with it. And I think I have all the number 1's for reference material and because a lot of them are good and I can't just have a few of them. The majority of them are set to skip when shuffling

I'm just the same, which is why mine is upsetting me so much at the moment. I have got mOBSCENE on mine!

You know how you can't edit it on your ipod? When you find an error do you always star the track to remember to do something about it. I do. I give it 1 star if it needs deleting, 5 stars if I need to download the rest of the album, or the quality is poor or something and 2 or 3 stars if there is some other error with it, just to remind me. I'm that sad!

No - mine's not an ipod. But I do I have a list in the list app on my phone where I make a note of any tracks that are being crazy.

I normally wait for the banter to die down before posting the poll but it's not budging this week, so I'll stick it up later :)

I don't have all the number 1's (nowhere near that many, but then again there have been some absolutely hideous number 1 tracks since 1952) however I do put on all songs of an artist I like, so I have the complete (or mostly complete in some cases) back catalogue of Queen, U2, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Manic Street Preachers, Oasis, Blur, Jamiroquai & David Bowie on my iPod, to name a few.

Ah, I've known for years how sad I am. My brother is just the same tho. My mother just has CDs all over the place, out the cases, no organisational system whatsoever, and she can't figure out where he and I got our OCD tendencies from.

Just joking...sort of.

As per GHG guidelines, I didn't put any of yours up because you chose more than one and didn't make it clear which you wanted included in the poll.

Ah I saw you as a man with taste. You disappoint me with U2, Jamiroquai and to an extent Oasis (though Definitely Maybe and What's The Story were great.)

 U2's earlier stuff is much better than their later stuff, same goes with Jamiroquai & also Oasis in all honesty, that's the problem with me I like some bands widely recognised as been excellent (Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie & The Police) however I do also like the occasional bouts of crap as well.

All I will say is this, if I was a Radio DJ I would do mu utmost to not play the same track during the same week, however as we all know Radio stations now insist on a playlist, this is why unknown bands hardly get a chance these days.
