The Sun TV Biz wrote:MOTORMOUTH Chris Moyles went Radio Gaga when he dressed up as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury for Channel 4's Comedy Gala.

The Radio 1 breakfast DJ donned a tight white top, white trousers and a yellow jacket.

And to complete the look he had a fake moustache and an orange tan to take off the flamboyant singer at the Tuesday night gig.

The Comedy Gala can be seen on June 10 at 9pm.

Queen of the night ... Chris as Freddie Moyl-cury

Now he is dressing up as Freddy and loves The Village People as well as the Hairspray song. Is there something you want to tell us Chris. :D

If anyone was watching on Channel 4 tonight on Dermot Big Fat Comedy Gala show. There was an interview with Chris backstage at the Comedy Gala in his Freddy get up. So tomorrow night will be the big night we see him do his Freddy thang.

Just saw it now. He looked great, although he was on for such a brief period of time, makes you wonder if all the moustache cultivation and costume and makeup was worth it!

He was only on for 1 minute 5 seconds ish. If you see from the video that i found online its 2.23. So it was heavily edited like Bmstintion said.

Bring back Gag Idol. (Could put that in Aled's thread) I just think Chris should do stand-up, but I know it would be for an adult audience away from radio 1. So, maybe dont bring back Gag Idol, now I think about it.

I enjoyed it, a good idea to dress up as Freddie, I just wish he'd worked the room, I think he did ok with Live Earth at Wembley if I remember.

I would love and i have been thinking this for years that Chris should do some late night chat show more than the Quiz night. Where he could be more himself without having to watch his language like he does on the breakfast show. He would be awesome doing that kind of thing like Alan Carr's Chatty Man where he could do gags and be a bit freer in what he can and can't say.

I've always thought a Chris Moyles show, with the exact same team and structure, except on late at night past the watershed so no need to watch language etc, would be a very very funny thing indeed.

i think after Chris and Daves poor effort on UK Play (or whatever) they might be put off about trying it again. I just think a good traditional chat show format , late at night like Jonathan Ross old show , would be perfect for Chris. Cant stand Graham Nortons show , though I will watch it if the guests are alright.

I think the potential problem with a Ross-type chat show is that sometimes Chris talks more than the guests do. Which is usually fine on radio but I think on tv it would come across badly. I just can't imagine him lapsing into the standard chat show host mode that would be necessary for that kind of thing.

I thought Chris did realy well on the comedy gala, it was a shame he didn't sing the whole
song though. The audience seemed impressed.

Sat and today are up
