Yeah, it's my own fault really I should update weekly, I go into each post, copy the link, then past in the relevant post on the thread & submit, unfortunately I hit some button that prevented me from undoing my mistake.

Put it this way once I do it again tomorrow I'll update it more often from now on.

Wow. In the BBC provider options on Radio Downloader, don't change the conversion quality option to highest. It's taking literally about two hours to convert today's show.

Maybe that is why mine stopped working suddenly. Did you have it set to the lowest before?

When I downloaded the latest version, I think it defaulted to encoding quality 5. But there doesn't seem to be much difference in quality. I'll compare today's show (quality 10) with tomorrow's show, which I will do at 5.

I've listened to a bit of today's edited show (encoding quality 10) on my mp3 player, and a bit of yesterday's show (encoding quality 5), and there is no difference. So I'm sticking with the default 5.

44.1kHz (it's always usually 44.1kHz for audio, and 48kHz for audio for video). And I tend to go for 128kbps, which tends to be the lowest mp3 bitrate you can do before it starts sounded poor. Having said that, I don't have the "Re-encode..." and "Force all..." checkboxes ticked, so if the downloaded file is a higher bitrate than 128kbps then it wouldn't re-encode it anyway.
