Yeah I do miss the Saturday Morning kids shows from back then, Going Live, Live & Kicking (Andi Peters/Emma Forbes & Jamie Theakston/Zoe Ball eras) and SMTV were great, sadly it's a gormless chef on BBC1/ITV1 and sod all else.

That brought back some memories; Check this one out with a very young and svelt Andi Peters, way before the protein shakes and body building. I'd forgotton The Human League had a short comeback in the early 90's. Where are Trev and Simon these days?

Unfortunately that sort of kids programme has gone these days (God I sound like an old git, I'm only 27 ), Going Live, Live & Kicking and SMTV were kids shows that adults could also enjoy, however unfortunately these have all gone. The reason the BBC & ITV gave was that there are dedicated Children's channels so they're kind of redundant (then again there are plenty of cooking channels so that argument is a load of old bunkum) so we're stuck with those gurning idiots James Martin & Anthony Worrall Thompson each Saturday. With ITV in particular it's cost cutting as usual which is why the channel has no original Kids programmes, documentaries, etc. and that's it's been replaced by the shite they currently broadcast.
