Yeah, my comment was based purely on what I know, which is that Jackass is made up of people who do stupid and dangerous things for entertainment.

I didn't want to be the first to say that but now you have I completely agree.

Same, he could of killed someone just walking along the street.

Glad he just took himself out

YEAH, * HIM. HE DESERVED TO DIE.

seems to be the general consensus.

i think it's truly amazing that people are so quick to lose all their sympathy for a person losing his life (yes i'm aware he was responsible for the loss of another) just because he made a mistake. twice over the legal limit could be less than 2 pints, which isn't as devilish to most as the phrasing would have you believe.

Yeah I don't quite get this myself, he wasn't a horrible person just a idiot (for want of a better phrase) for driving over the limit, must be awful for the families of both of them.

I have no pity for anyone who gets into a car and drive's whether it be one pint or 2. There should not even be a 'legal limit'.

According to the police toxicology report, Dunn's blood-alcohol reading was 0.196, while the legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08.[/quote]

Only idiots drink and drive.

Just found out about Peter Falk. To me he was the guy from the Neverending Story, not Columbo.

I'm not saying he deserved to die at all, I don't believe anyone deserves to die - I just think that someone who makes a living out of doing very high risk and stupid stunts for the entertainment of the masses should be prepared for the consequences. It's a shame that he's dead - but 'oh noes' in this thread are reserved for people you genuinely respected in life and I'm afraid I didn't respect this guy.

Fair comment, to be honest I always thought Steve-O would be the first one to peg it, that bloke's a loon

When you're out for a drink you're right, when you then take control of a car with a passenger it is.

And then driving it at 130 mph . And we don't know what the legal alcohol limit is in that state either.
Either way its sad he's dead, but its just a pity that in his stupidity he had to take someone with him.

I know what people are saying about his idiocy - that night he was one (whether he was doing it cos he was about to start doing stunts that reflect video games for a TV show) But, I've never disrespected someone for being one if they were doing it for my entertainment, we were invited to call them idiots but I personally think they had more going on upstairs.

If you were out drinking socially with a world-known star of JACKASS - Would you get in a car with him after he'd had drinks? Looking the way he was?
Image

There's a website dedicated to all things 'not right in the head', and, as human beings, we're all known for random acts of stupidity, not condoning his lifestyle at all here, it was 3am when he was racing around, there was a picture of Diana and how she would have looked today in the paper, the one thing positive about early deaths is that you're forever young. So, no matter what you or I think of him, he'll live on in film, HD, 3D, you name it, he stuck around just long enough. Strange old world, don't get me started on Jacko.

Did he? I have no idea. But drinking and driving isn't a mistake, its a conscious choice to do something criminally dangerous. Hence my complete indifference to the fact that he died.
