Image

Love it.....or hate it?

Personally I love Marmite! flipping love the stuff!

It comes from my Mum loving it and giving it to me loads as a kid, now at 29 I can't stop eating the stuff still.

So whats about you?

Tell me about it, usually got to trim them down before use or else my little fella looks like it's under attack, like a scene from a bad 1950's monster movie.

Out of context, that is just pure filthy.

Can we stop turning every frickin thread into being about sex please? It's starting to create an unpleasant and potentially oppressive atmosphere. Thankyou.

On the subject of marmite - love it. It's the only vegan food that contains vitamin B12, so I have to love it.

It's innuendo. It's what I do. And I don't think every thread is being turned into sex / innuendo. Although I may have missed something.

That wasn't really aimed at you Foots. I just feel like every thread is the same at the moment. But maybe its me being over sensitive.

8O

I think its always been like this to an extent...but yes it has got worse and I apologise for my contributions that have helped to exceed the tolerated threshold for sexual discussion

I would certainly say that the odd topic does result in some crass boyhood vulgarity but I wouldn't say that every thread is flowing with sexual undercurrents.

Goodness, even look at your sig 8O You sometimes join in. So to speak.

Anyway its all Ben & DTJ's fault. They are a bad influence on me.

You're right, I do sometimes join in. And I know objecting probably makes me sound like some sort of Mary Whitehouse type. I just feel like every thread is degenerating into innuendo straightaway at the moment - the intended topics, such as the joys of Marmite, barely have a chance. It's starting to get on my nerves a bit.

I will try my upmost to stick to posting relevant and valid points in my posts from now on. Apologies once again.
So Marmite, Love or Hate.

Got to say love...

Especially when rubbed all over my body. :)

EDIT

*I did have naked body originally, but that even grossed me out!*

Urgh, that would be awfully sticky, you'd be showering for days afterwards :)

I actually prefer Vegemite, which is a controversial statement, because the texture is slightly different and easier to spread on toast without clumping and taking the top layer of the bread off. The taste is the same tho.

Marmite is lovely on muffins, I had some on a couple today :)

However it's best on a toasted cheese sandwich, just adds something to it

It's worth it! It makes me look like a bronzed adonis.

...

Nope, just been sick in my mouth at the thought.

Can see the appeal Johnny, I do like a bit worcestershire sauce on the ol' roasted cheese for that extra wee wallop. Might give it a go, not sold on the Vegemite though Nic. Sounds to veggie'ie to me.

It was because I had no Worcestershire Sauce that I resorted to Marmite, I didn't regret it :)

It's yeast extract just the same, just a different brand name, the Australian version in fact (as in "he just smiled and have me a Vegemite sandwich"!) Both are naturally vegan.

Another little tip I like to share with fellow Marmite lovers - if you're having beans on toast, put Marmite on the toast. It's good stuff.
