I just read on Ediths page on facebook that she is quitting Radio 1! Does anyone know if there is any truth in this?

unlikely its true - I'd thought she'd announce it on twitter and the BBC press office normally do a press release. Wouldnt be too suprised if she leaves sooner rather than later

Had a quick look on her twitter and she has replied to several tweets about it, stating clearly that she's not leaving. So it was a false rumour, apparently. (Not that I care either way!)

I hope this turns out to be false as I enjoy listening to her on the way to work and when having a lie-in. Then again we know how the media works so I woudn't be suprised if was all untrue.

The Scottish Newspaper The Daily Record was the only paper i saw today that had a big headline of Parfdaddy leaving.

Ediths name was mentioned I wouldn't mind if they axed Edith, Scott and Dev. Move Fearne to Gregs or Scott's slot so i don't have to listen to the handover in the morning.
