Is anyone else that uses the Radio Downloader program finding that it is only downloading a portion of the show from today (13/07/2011)?

It’s not just the Moyles show either. I tried downloading Dev, Fearne, Greg, Scott and Zane this evening and I’m only getting a portion of all of them, about 15 minutes at the most.

I'm using a different program but having issues as well - it's just coming back saying the download failed. I haven't tried other shows.

Maybe it's something to do with the iplayer then? Though I have just checked the show and it seems to be working fine through the website.

I missed the opening link for Tue's show and managed to download the show last night. Took a while but seems ok.

Might be a problem with the link radio downloaded was trying to use to get the show. I'd try it again tonight or a bit later.

Yep, same thing has happened to me. In fact all the past ten days' shows haven't downloaded in full and I only just noticed last night - which is now too late to try some of them a second time. I thought it might be that my C drive had run out of space, but apparently not. Thankfully ianpwilliams uploads the edited shows so they're not lost completely, which is a relief as I need them for the Tedious. Might be time to try get_iplayer instead tho. What are you using Foots?

You're probably right. It's a bit too tech-heavy for me to really understand on my own, and the flatmate is so busy with work at the moment that I dunno if he has the time to help me. I nearly cried when I noticed how much I was missing last nite. The second time I tried the five shows that were still available on the iplayer, it's managed to catch 3hrs 22mins of each - so I need to decide whether I wanna download Ian's edited versions and patch them together in wavepad, or just not be bothered about those final 13mins.

Thanks goodness I seen this thread or else I would have put on an incomplete version of yesterday's show on my mp3 player to listen to during work this weekend. Seemed it has only started yesterday with me since the other shows I have downloaded are the full 3 hrs 35 min shows. It sucks since I really like using this software and having to resort to another one again just annoys me. I think I would rather download ian's edited shows than use get_iplayer.

Today's show seems to be doing the same thing.

Here's yesterday's show: http://www.multiupload.com/663FM0OUHQ

If you need others, let me know.

I've helped a couple of peeps get "get_iplayer" working, so see this thread (I'd read from the end backwards) if you need help: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=23275&start=50 It is sometimes tricky to get going, but once it works, it's easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I just grabbed today's show in about 92 seconds and it's complete.

Its a pain in the ass that RD isn't working. It downloads the first five minutes of the show then gives up for me. Just downloaded get iplayer but its not as good - but does the trick. Hope RD fixes itself soon.

Ah good.. I'm on a new computer and was beginning to think there might have been a problem with it :)

That has to be part of the problem then if the feed keeps dropping out hence why it isn't letting us download the full show via RD but neil got yesterday's show downloaded fine with get_iplayer when this started with some of us.

Get iPlayer Automator.

I think it's a different program from get_iplayer - this is one for the Mac. Having issues with todays show as well.

There's nothing wrong with iPlayer stuff through get_iplayer here. :?

HOWEVER, if you look closely at today's show in that screenshot, you'll see that it appears to be using yesterday's "bmflimf004x" whatever code. That may be screwing things up -- having said that, I've checked it, and it's definitely today's show and intact.

Cheers for the link Neil. I need to assess the state of my downloads this evening and see if I need any more.

I have been having issue just listening on iPlayer past couple days.

It plays normally but then just stops - as if I got to the end of the show and it displays the "more like this" thing.

Tried on main iplayer site but also through Chris' page on BBC Radio 1 site??

I thought it was at the same point when it would faill but it seems random??
