The Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee will report back on their findings in December I believe; the Leveson inquiry is starting and who knows how long that'll take. There are suggestions the police have 300 million News International emails to go through, not to mention the thousands of potential victims to contact - believe me, it's not gone quiet.
