Even with the 'Dad' in the opposite corner? I think the angle of the pic makes it look a bit weird to be honest. It's hard to photograph your own right inner arm. It doesn't look like that in real life (I trust my tattooist to tell me if something looks really dodgy!)

I knew it said Mum, I knew also that the Love inclulded the numberals 40, as it's an anniversary of 40 years of Love, I also know Nic has a sence of humour, and would acknowledge that the angle of the picture does make it look a bit like Bum, but in real life it clearly says Mum.

Post pictures of your Tats, and I can make similar comments about your tramp stamp looking like a Squirel having it's eyebrows plucked etc if you like!

I think the thing I was most concerned about was making sure that it looked like 'Love' as well as '40'! I could see a bloke in Starbucks squinting to read it this morning

It's never even crossed my mind that tattoos could be that. I've always just looked at them as "this will never change" as a justification for them. Suppose the "moment in time" thing is just as valid.

Always good to expand your mind a little bit!
