It's really your account isn't it Benji, with a few of the 'ahem' specialist channels included. Must be a whole new experience wathcing that in 3D.

I don't work for Sky, but I can categorically say it will not go on Sky 3.

Shite news, the BBC coverage of late has been class. It's brightened up many a boring work shift for me.

Sky 3 used to be brilliant with programmes like 'Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old' but now Challenge TV has taken over as the greatest freeview channel

Challenge TV, meh, It's never on my googlebox. I've got the Sky HD package mind (£34 pcm - no sports or movies) so tend to watch their own channels. Dave would be my freeview channel of choice. Although saying that, I think I have now seen every Top Gear and Mock the Week ever made. Five times over. Then again on Dave Ja Vu.

They used to have Sky Sports News (in it's Freeview days) on at my gym but now it's Top Gear and Mock the Week, you wonder why they bother, it's not like they ever change the bloody channel.

If I was in charge (sounds stupid, I know) I wouldn't keep paying for the Sky subscription. We don't use it for much more than what can be done on Freeview.

Each to their own buddy but just checked my planner and 80pct is sky1/living/fx/atlantic/alibi and who can forget disney jnr. Much as I would love to be without the extra cost, I don't know how my household could function without it. £8pw well spent. Or just over £1 a day for benji's benefit

I'm with Topher. Although I can see why if the BBC had to choose between some of F1 and losing Wimbledon, Wimbledon would be the 1 to stay.

I am 1 of those that is lucky enough to have Sky (thanks to still living with my parents) but we have no sports channels as no-one in our house is a die hard fan of any sports, apart from me and F1 - and my parents are not going to add the extra cost just for me.

Forgot to mention this... I'm ruddy disgusted at this outcome. I cannot believe this has happened - after all the boring Schumacher/ITV years, F1 finally gets interesting/viewable again, and its gone... We even have Sky TV (although noy Sky Sports), but even so, I will not be paying for it. F1 2012 is boycotted for me.

Ecclestone you kunt, you have enough money to never worry about anything ever again. Please, * off and stop ruining things for everyone, you miserly old twat.

@Zootbot Why is it your right to have full F1 coverage?

Oh, I can claim no 'right' to it.... But it was less than 24 months since Big-Bellend-Bernie was telling us how he is "commited to showing F1 on free-to-air tv".... Right up to the point where bskyb waved a big fat cheque in his face. the simple fact that the pleasure of so many is controlled by so few is not a good thing. This outcome is only good for Murdoch and Ecclestone. F1 went to ITV with adverts and viewers turned off in there MILLIONS. Moving it to Sky will not create more F1 fans, but will mean many F1 fans no longer follow the sport, how is this good for the sport in any way shape or form?!!!!!

I've said my bit in the F1 thread, but suffice to say I agree with you.

I am completely against this decision, but in all honesty, it isn't really your right to have it.
