Any ideas how to report SPAM? There doesn't seem to be a button to click or anything like that.

Oh for goodness' sake, it should be obvious on any forum to not reply to spam threads. Stop being so precious.

LordMonkcheese wrote:- Spammer makes thread
- newbie asks where report function is
- newbie gets smartarse response
- newbie gets told not to reply to spammer by you
- you can't grasp the concept of irony by replying to a thread started by a spammer telling someone not to reply to a thread started by a spammer
- newbie reiterates how a simple response along the lines of, "there's a big exclamation mark, click that" would have resulted in a happy newbie and a spammer thread that received no more replies
- you can't let it lie and have to have a final word

Noted.

Nicola_Red wrote:Right. If we must do this:
- blah

- I'm a moderator, I don't need to "have the final word".
Nicola_Red wrote:- if you can't handle the "smartarse replies", maybe you should assess whether you really want to be hereActually I think smartarse replies are kinda fun.
Nicola_Red wrote:Smartarse is not the same thing as personally explicit. I'll give you that I was feeling over-sensitive at the time I wrote that, but I think this is a whole different kettle of fish.
