I can see both sides, yes it is better then the playlist bilge thats normaly played on Radio 1, then again recycling the same year every ten weeks and hearing the same songs/artists with Chris saying 'you may not of heard this in ages' bull laughable.
I would prefer something else between 9am-10am, what I dont know but could'nt be any worse then it is now. To be honest I dont listen for long (about a couple of songs) and tune out until about 9.55 to listen to the end of the show, there is another golden hour on another station that does all 4 decades so I check that out, plus other stations on a friday seem to do variations on that theme but better cause it includes 70s & 80s, so I suppose in a way it does'nt matter, but I still say drop it.
