That depends on if that guy has most of 2004 and early 2005. But I'd be surprised if I'm missing much more than a dozen from June 2005 to this day. I've not counted actually, and I guess it would be rather nice to know exactly how many breakfast shows they've done so far. Must be over 2000, I reckon.

Close. They're only missing 107 episodes. And that number isn't likely to make it to double figures either.

Almost all, 107. I was'nt far off. :)
That won't stop them looking though. I'm sure the same applies here aswell.

I think I'm right in saying that there is a clip from that show in the sound vault. If that is true then whoever uploaded it must have the entire show.

There's not a programme out there which has missing episodes hunted after so passionately than Doctor Who. Every official path has virtually been taken and their only hope now seems to be that some BBC staffer managed to get a copy out before the tapes were erased. Not much chance of that, now. Don't think they've found a missing episode in years.

As for Moyles, there are hundreds of programmes possibly lost for ever. Depends how much is kept at the BBC radio archive. I'd like to think Chris himself has kept a copy of every show he's done, but that's wishful thinking.

EGO. :D (I'd do the same mind).

Frasier had an episode based around the fact he had and entire cupboard of all his shows. As far as I know Aled dosnt read this paticular forum page but I wonder if he does the same. :)

I still don't know if the team know about this archive.

Stat of the day. The Chris Moyles (Breakfast) Show has (I think) passed over 1600 programmes. That's not including 'The Chris Moyles Show With Scott or Sara or Vernon', where we'd probably be over 1700, maybe approaching 1800. I'll try and get a definitive figure as to what show we're on now by the end of the weekend, but there's some hard research to do, especially with the 2004/5 shows I don't have, where there's also no entries at bbc.co.uk/programmes yet. And there's going to be miscellaneous shows like Christmas Day ones, and one off things like the Moyles/Blackburn show and the BBQ show. But we're somewhere around #1650-ish at the moment. I expect a massive 2000th episode extravaganza around the start of 2013.

They forgot about the two years since they broke the longest running radio 1 breakfast show record. 2000 shows will pass them by without comment I expect.

What was the BBQ show? I've never heard of this one.

Two years since the record show isn't really an anniversary though. 2000 shows certainly is. I dare say they'd have marked 1000 in some way if someone was keeping count, but I guess no-one was. Once I've done my work, and keep counting for another year, they'll certainly be aware of when #2000 will be, and make preperations accordingly.

3 hour show on Sunday 5th August 2006 from Newquay. Part of some Six Weeks of Summer thing.

Mike, do you have Wednesday 11th February 2004 at all? Just going through some of the show reviews and on this day, Chris was so drunk he slept in for the first 90 minutes of the show. Would love to hear the reaction to this.

Oh man, I would love to hear that myself. People moan about the fact he shows up about 10-15 mins late nowadays but that's nothing compared to that.

Best thing to do would be to get a download manager such as jDownloader for instance and use that. That way you can group all the links together and download them automatically one after the other. It saves you having to manually download each show :D .
