Don't be a tit chrisjames. It has nothing to do with "respecting" Moyles, and realistically its not particularly respectful to assume that he is the delicate little fragile flower you seem to think he is.

No one is being nasty here. No one is even seriously trying to pry. We listen to a man every morning chatting to his mates - and by extension, to us - about himself and his life, and the people in it. Of course people are going to be interested in who he is going out with, but there's a big difference between that friendly interest which is being (mostly) expressed here and the kind of intrusive probing which you seem to think is happening.

The Moyles show relies on there being a relationship of sorts between Chris and his listeners. He is brilliant at creating and maintaining that impression that we're all mates together, and he is certainly quite intelligent enough to understand that by doing so, he is going to generate a certain amount of interest in his personal life.
