The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

...on suspicion of attacking his girlfriend. http://www.nme.com/news/n-dubz/59687

I thought he couldn't sink any lower after the whole 'death threats to listeners' debacle, I was wrong!

I always thought he was a little shit, this just cements my opinion.

I bet Moyles is cursing Radio 1 management for forcing him to do an interview with Dappy recently.

Utter, utter *.

He was released without charge, but if Chris is not happy it is his own fault for indulding the little twerp.

Mm, that's exactly what I thought of when I saw the story. It had occured to me in the past that maybe we had judged him too harshly after the death-threat incident, but nope, my instincts were right - people like that don't change. He is a nasty little piece of work.

Hehe, this is why I kept silent after the recent Dappy interview, when alot of people were saying 'oh, he's changed...he isn't who he used to be...etc' cos I had a feeling the change wasn't permanent :D

Not quite sure what any of this had to do with Chris.
And I'm sure he was more than happy to have Dappy back on his show. It was good radio and he is popular so it would of been good for ratings.

If he had been jailed for crimes against music like i said he should the first time i ever clapped eyes on the weasel faced wee bollocks, then he wouldn't be free to roam the country spreading his particular kind of misery among the populace.

Not neccessarily. It may have been good for ratings, but regardless of that, Chris stated that he didn't want Dappy back on the show after the death-threat incident. There's no way for us to know whether he personally changed his mind or whether R1 management pushed for Dappy to be allowed back onto the show, but either way, it rather seems now like it was a bad decision.

It would be nice to think that R1 are mindful of their young audience and don't want people who are suspected of attacking their partners to appear on air, but who knows whether they consider that above or below their ratings. I would like to think that Chris as a person would now refuse to interview Dappy again even if it is good radio. He's been vocal enough about his feelings about Chris Brown, after all.

I agree. Chris liked him before the text incident and I believe that he wanted to give him another chance too. Of course, he is also popular with the younger listeners and R1 will always want Moyles to have those people on the show whether he is interested in them or not.

We should remember that everyone are presumed innocent until proven otherwise in this country.Let's wait for the outcome of any trial before writing him off completely. In fact he hasn't even been charged yet!

Don't be ridiculous, the man is a total little shit. Although up until the death threats thing I had always thought he came over pretty well on the radio - all his TV appearances were horribly embarrassing though.

Either way, it was stating the obvious and something that's already been said at length in the thread.

Perhaps although the cynic in me wonders what would happen if like Dappy he was booked for Quiz Night or some other tv show he may do in the future?

I think you may be onto something there.

I did start out here trying to be all interesting and knowledgeable but you could probably all see through that. Plus it would take about an hour to make a post as I would always be reverting to thesaurus.com to find more educated words than my vocabulary could offer and by the time I had posted, 4/5 other posts would've been made since the original post I was trying to make comment on had been placed.

See I don't even know if the above resembles a grammatically correct sentence.
