Liam neeson's * is so big, that it would take all the members of this forum standing head to toe just to reach the middle of it.

I know for a fact that comedy Dave is on holiday in Tenerife, because a bloke on twitter tweeted to the world that he was sunbathing next to him.So much for privacy!

PS DAve tweeted back confirming it really was him so maybe he doesn't mind people knowing where he's on holiday

Once the book comes out, he'll be a millionaire.

My thought exactly. Only I pronounce "millionaire" as "miwyonnaire" in homage.

Very much suffering from show withdrawl this week. Christian O'Connell is away too so options are slim!!

Any thoughts on what the where am I replacement is going to be? Hopefully another feature with callers.

I heard a couple of minutes of Mills this morning just as I was leaving the front door for work. Becky said something about imagining (I think) Frankie from X Factor having a pee and then bursting into fake hysterics about what she had just said.

With that I hastily re-tuned to Galaxy Birmingham and went on my merry way.

Shaun Keaveney is good on 6music if you can get DAB. He's pretty funny & there's obviously more music than Chris but at least its half decent (usually) & not the juvenile playlist crap Radio 1 has.
There's even a familiar & strangely comforting dread coming up to 10 as well, when he too hands over to a tedious, will sapping, female presenter, though Lauren Laverne rather than Ferne f*cking Cotton.

Dodgy moment this morning, at 6.30 after the news - it seemed for a couple of minutes as though Mills was actually going to try to talk, and he had a subject ready and everything, but after a couple of minutes of creaking, groaning effort to try to sound spontaneous and natural (it was like listening to someone trying to turn rusty cogs with no WD40), he gave up, literally mid sentence - "yes, it was great, I really feel Christmassy, we need to do a Buble Christmas song today right here's Pendulum!"

He should just NOT TALK.

That's why I like 6Music, I don't listen to Keaveney (but trust me I will by a DAB alarm clock soon, next time Moyles is off Radio 1 will also be off if Mills is there) but I like the majority of their music & they do play new bands that are decent on the whole & also the decent classics.

In all honesty if it wasn't for Moyles I would have given up on the music a long time ago, I mean honestly hip-hop/r'n'b over the top of an Ibiza tune, really?!?!

Nail on the head there Yuds as to why I dislike him, Moyles, Coxy, hell even Cotton can do a link, talk about something and by the tone in their voice you can tell that a link is going to come to an end. Mills just stops mid sentence every time, and sounds so robotic on the Radio these days.

My brother heard a bit of the show this morning, his exact words were "Who's this twat, Mills? He sounds awful" and he's someone who prefers the Afternoon Moyles show to the Mornings (mainly because of Will).

One bit that did make me laugh this week was when Harry Hill (who raised the quality of the show 10 fold) was on the show, I think Wednesday or Thursday, and the following conversation occured:

Mills: Hello Harry welcome back again to the show
Harry: Yes hello, you've moved to a new time?!
Mills: Yeah it's only temporary, Chris is back next week
Harry: Ah so this is an audition then?
Mills: We'll I've been doing this (covering for Moyles) for ten years now, so I think that time has passed

Or something like that, can't remember Mills' exact words at the end before I turned the Radio off, either way I think Harry was knowingly taking the piss

Yeah shame Harry couldn't be on with Moyles. He's got Alan Sugar instead, if they'd just swapped guests then Sugar could've fired him!

Sat and today are up
