It can't be as Aled promised us 12 hours of Marathon Show Highlights on Boxing Day.

I didn't mind Carrie, it's just that she didn't have a clue about sport.

Other than that, it was mainly as a manufactured femme fatel.

The singing alone (Jeez) brought enough laughs to justify her being on the show!

Absolutely, sounds to me like she's usually quite reserved, but I think she's coming more and more out of her shell. And is a lot of fun.

When we had the cm.net day at the studios, we raised the point that there's a lack of female input on the show. Aled said that he recognised this and was going to move Tina to a different mic so that she doesn't have to battle with Dom or Dave. Looks like it's working.

Nicee when did he say that? :)

Oh, I can't remember. A few days ago.

I transcribed the Tedious from the day Aled announced it last nite - it was on 2 Nov during the Jon Culshaw interview. So now we know.

Not to mention the fact that Dave said on air that this was the first he'd heard about him and Chappers reuniting :)

I find it ironic that on OBs everyone has their own mic, in the studio they share 4 mics between 5 of them. You would expect the studio environment to be better equipped than a temporary set up at some random venue.

I think that's probably down to the fact that they can customize the OB equipment, Take what they need is what I mean. The studio is pre built to the specifications of the person in charge of running the re-fit.
That and the fact Moyles show is a bit of a mould breaking team for the current R1 line-up. Most other DJ's have themselves or one other (not including guests obviously) whereas Chris is at least three at any one time (taking into account Dom & Tina leaving to do some news/sport updating work).

You're right (although I think the studios have been refitted since the team moved to Breakfast so it /could/ have been accomodated) and also on OBs they don't have the benefit of a soundproofed and treated environment so having more less sensitive and more directional mics will work better.

Sat and today are up
